On April 9, the first phase of the construction of the Aonong meat products production project located in the Minhou Economic Development Center entered the final stage, and the plant decoration and equipment installation are being fully accelerated.

Aonong Meat Products Production Project is located in the third phase of Minhou County Economic Development Center Park, with a land area of 20,400 square meters and a total construction area of 33,000 square meters. The first phase of the project will build a slaughtering workshop, meat product workshop and supporting facilities, etc., with a planning and design capacity of more than 1 million pigs slaughtered annually and an annual meat segmentation capacity of 20,000 tons. The second phase plans to build a deep processing, product trading, and cold chain distribution system.

"At present, the first phase of the project is progressing synchronously with multiple threads such as external construction, internal decoration, and equipment installation, and strives to be completed and put into operation in June. In order to support the construction of our project, Minhou County will also compress the construction period of supporting municipal roads to less than one month, and build a 9-meter-wide asphalt road by June. Wang Lei, deputy general manager of Fujian Aonong Food Co., Ltd., said.

As the only designated slaughterhouse in Minhou County in the future, Aonong meat products production project adopts international mainstream slaughtering technology, equipped with modern production equipment and facilities such as carbon dioxide stunning, closed canal scalding tunnel, double spiral automatic hairing machine, etc., and the slaughtering capacity of pigs in one hour can reach more than 400 heads, which is enough to ensure more than half of the fresh meat demand of the Fuzhou market. At the same time, it is equipped with terminal laboratories such as African swine fever PCR testing room and physical and chemical drug residue testing room to fully protect the "safety of the tip of the tongue" of the public.
After the project is fully put into operation, it will become a meat processing plant with the highest degree of automation and intelligence and the most complete chain in the province.
