Zelensky stood and begged for food, and Scholz was ridiculed for not giving missiles: cowardly as a mouse, afraid of Putin

On April 9, 2024, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky talked about the current German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Germany's assistance to Ukraine in an interview with the German newspaper Bild. Zelensky ridiculed Scholz for being cowardly and afraid of Putin, Germany obviously has the "Taurus" cruise missiles that Ukraine urgently needs, but it just does not aid Ukraine, so that the Ukrainian army always suffers defeats in the face of the Russian army, and Scholz should be mainly responsible for this. As for the reason why the German Chancellor has always been reluctant to let go and provide Ukraine with the "Taurus" cruise missiles it needs, Zelensky also made his own explanation, which he believes is because German Chancellor Scholz has considered practical issues and because Germany is not a nuclear state. In the face of Russia, a nuclear supermilitary power, if Germany makes a move that does not conform to or does not satisfy Russia, Germany will inevitably face a huge threat from Russia, which is a situation that Germany does not want to see today.

In order to avoid involving Germany in this conflict, Germany will definitely maintain its neutral position on some key issues, even if the performance of the "Taurus" cruise missile is good, even if Ukraine wants it, Germany just won't give it. Zelensky mercilessly ridiculed German Chancellor Scholz's psychology, Zelensky believes that Scholz has not yet recovered from the shadow of World War II, and only by overcoming the huge sense of oppression when the Soviet Red Army captured Berlin can Germany truly become a great power. All in all, in an interview with the German newspaper "Bild" on April 9, Zelensky still mercilessly gave Scholz a two-word comment, that is, he is timid as a mouse and afraid of Putin.

The diplomatic turmoil between Germany and Ukraine is also worth interpreting, in fact, criticism and ridicule of German Chancellor Scholzde have been a common practice in Ukrainian officialdom. Previously, Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Melnik had publicly ridiculed that Scholz was a pig in the water, and Germany's aid to Ukraine was slowly swallowed like a snail carrying a cannonball. In this Russia-Ukraine conflict, Scholz is the most uncomfortable among European leaders, and he has always become the best target for Ukrainians to vent their anger and dissatisfaction. Now, two years after the outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has started a mockery mode against German Chancellor Scholz.

First, the Ukrainians are really rude, obviously they are begging others to help them with advanced weapons and equipment, but they unceremoniously sneer at others, there is no such reason in the world, they obviously come to beg, but they regard themselves as masters, and they still stand on the moral high ground to point fingers at Germany. From the original Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Melnik, to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Kuleba, to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, none of Ukraine's many senior officials have reached the passing line in terms of political and moral cultivation. From this point of view, Ukrainian politicians should really improve their literacy, after all, international politics is not Ukraine's domestic politics.

Senior Ukrainian officials can win the support of their voters at home by sprinkling, cheating, and playing hooligans, but in the international political arena, there should be at least respect, and if you don't respect others, others will not respect Ukrainian officials. Now, Zelensky has insulted Scholz, and there is no guarantee that Scholz will never retaliate against Zelensky, although the outside world thinks Scholz is a soft noodle, but this person also has scheming. The more Ukraine insults Scholz like this and publicly humiliates Scholz, Ukraine may not be able to get the "Taurus" cruise missile in the end, and this time Zelensky publicly insulted the German Chancellor in front of German reporters, it can only be said that Zelensky is really a little brainy.

Second, the cynicism of a number of senior Ukrainian officials, including Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, against German Chancellor Scholz boils down to one sentence, Germany has its own ideas on the issue of aid to Ukraine. Germany does not want to align itself with the United States and other countries, and has been highly cautious about "aiding weapons and equipment that pose a threat to the Russian mainland." After all, the Taurus cruise missile is very powerful and has a long range, and once it is taken by Ukraine, Ukraine will inevitably use it for attacks on the Russian mainland. Previously, when the United States provided weapons and equipment such as "Seahorse" rocket artillery to Ukraine, it agreed with Ukraine that it should not be used to attack the Russian mainland, but in the actual war, Ukraine did not care about it at all. The reality of Ukraine's untrustworthy attitude is also very hesitant for Germany on the question of whether to aid the Taurus cruise missile.

Once the "Taurus" cruise missile aid is really given to Ukraine, Ukraine will inevitably use it to attack Russia, and at that time, Germany will be passively involved in the direct conflict between Ukraine and Russia, and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has never wanted this worst-case scenario. In Scholz's mind, Germany's economic development has always been the main central task of his administration, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict is just a small episode. The more Germany hesitates, the more it reflects Germany's true position on the Russian-Ukrainian issue, and in the minds of Germans, Ukraine is not a real ally and partner. Now, Zelensky is openly insulting German Chancellor Scholz, which can only show that in the face of the "cold" Germans, Ukraine is really a little anxious, so much so that he is unscrupulous and scolding.

Third, Zelensky insulted Scholz and was eager to get the "Taurus" cruise missile, which can also be seen that now Zelensky is not only in a hurry, but also very anxious. Zelensky believes that as long as Germany provides "Taurus" cruise missile assistance to Ukraine, Ukraine can use this weapon as a sharp weapon to kill all sides on the Russian-Ukrainian battlefield and defeat Russia. Now, a number of military and political officials in Ukraine, including Zelensky, have fallen into a frenzy or fantasy of weaponism, after all, there is no single weapon in the world that can play a fundamental role in the war between such two great powers, even if the United States used the atomic bomb against Japan towards the end of World War II, this is only the last straw that overwhelms Japan's surrender.

Zelensky and Syrsky, commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, always hope that as long as they get some advanced equipment from the West, they can reverse the unfavorable situation of Ukraine's war on the battlefield between Russia and Ukraine. This only shows that they have not yet understood the relationship between weapons and people, nor have they understood that the conflict between Ukraine and Russia is actually a war between the two great powers on the European continent. Without systematic combat preparations, without the support of the comprehensive strength of the two countries, and without the continuous input and support from the United States and other Western allies, it will be too difficult for Ukraine to win this war. Even if German Chancellor Olaf Scholz finally sends Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine under all kinds of pressure, it will not help at all.

All in all, today, Zelensky's insults to Scholz can only show Zelensky's political incompetence.
