(1) Exhaust cylinder height requirements
1. The height of the exhaust cylinder shall not be less than 15m. If there is a building within a radius of 200 m around the exhaust cylinder, the height of the exhaust cylinder should be more than 5 m higher than the tallest building. (Specifically determined according to the EIA).
2. The exhaust cylinder (chimney) should be equipped with monitoring sampling holes, sampling platforms and safety channels.
(2) Sampling port
1. The discharge port is set up in accordance with the principle of "convenient for sample collection, convenient for measurement and monitoring, and convenient for daily on-site supervision and inspection".
2. The location of the sampling hole should be preferentially selected in the vertical pipe section and the negative pressure area of the flue.
3. The location of the sampling hole should avoid the sharp change of the flue elbow and section, and be set at not less than 6 times the diameter of the flue from the downstream direction of the elbow, valve and reducer, and not less than 3 times the diameter of the flue from the upstream direction of the above components (6 before and 3 after 3). For rectangular flue, its equivalent diameter D=2AB/(A+B), where A and B are side lengths. Focus on checking the location and distance of the sampling holes.
(3) Sampling platform
1. The sampling platform is set up for the sampling of testing personnel, and the sampling platform should have enough working area for the staff to operate safely and conveniently. The area of the platform shall not be less than 1.5m2, and shall be equipped with a 1.2m high guardrail and a foot baffle of not less than 10cm, the bearing capacity of the sampling platform shall not be less than 200kg/m2, and the sampling hole shall be about 1.2m~1.3m away from the platform surface.
2. The sampling platform should be equipped with a permanent power supply. There should be a rain shelter above the platform. When the platform is set at a height of < 2m from the ground, a fixed steel straight ladder can be used to reach the sampling platform; when the platform is set at a height of ≥2m from the ground, an inclined ladder/Z-shaped ladder/spiral ladder leading to the platform should be constructed, the width of the ladder should not be less than 0.8m, and the angle of the ladder should not be greater than 45 degrees.
（4）废气排气筒（烟囱）规范化整治
1. A class of ambient air quality functional areas, such as national and provincial nature reserves, scenic spots and other areas that need special protection, shall not build new exhaust pipes (chimneys).
2. Two or more exhaust pipes (chimneys) emitting the same kind of pollutants (regardless of whether they belong to the same production equipment) should be combined into one exhaust pipe (chimney) as far as possible under the condition that it does not affect production and is technically feasible.
3. The height of the exhaust cylinder (chimney) for organized exhaust gas discharge shall comply with the relevant provisions of Taiwan's national air pollutant emission standards. If the requirements of the regulations are not met, the exhaust gas will be further treated, or the exhaust cylinder (chimney) will be remediated.
4. The exhaust pipe (chimney) with damage and air leakage must be repaired in time.
5. If there is an unorganized emission of toxic and harmful gases, where conditions permit, an air induction device should be installed for collection and treatment, and it should be changed to organized discharge. In principle, no facilities for unorganized emissions shall be set up for new expansion and renovation projects.
6. The exhaust cylinder (chimney) should be equipped with a sampling port and a sampling monitoring platform that are convenient for sampling and monitoring. If there are purification facilities, sampling ports should be set up at their entrances and exits.
7. The number and location of sampling holes and points shall be set up in accordance with the provisions of the "Determination of Particulate Matter in the Exhaust Gas of Fixed Pollution Sources and the Sampling Method of Gaseous Pollutants" (GB/T16157-1996) and the "Unified Monitoring and Analysis Method of Pollution Sources (Waste Gas Part)" ([82] Chenghuan Jian Zi No. 66).
