On April 9, the District Association for Science and Technology, together with the Chongqing Engineers Association and the Beibei District Engineers Association, held a science popularization activity with the theme of "Heart with Wings, Dream Flying" in Mianren Primary School in Beibei District.
The event is divided into three parts: aerospace exhibition, aerospace model exhibition site, and aviation model production site. At the aerospace exhibition, science and technology volunteers led the students to understand the mainland's land, sea and air military science and technology through game tasks, felt the mainland's strong military science and technology strength, and stimulated the children's love and interest in aerospace and military science and technology. At the aerospace model exhibition site, science and technology volunteers explained the principle of water rockets to the teachers and students of the school, and invited the students to make water rockets. At the aeronautical model making site, science and technology volunteers inspired the students to understand the basic principles of airplane flight through physical demonstrations, and led everyone to make airplane models and explore the mystery of flight together.
This activity broadened the students' horizons, cultivated their scientific thinking, spirit of inquiry and innovation ability, rooted their patriotic feelings, and ignited their dreams of traveling in space.
Next, the District Association for Science and Technology continued to carry out various forms of engineering science popularization activities, so that students not only learned scientific knowledge, but also stimulated their enthusiasm for scientific exploration, laying a solid foundation for cultivating future scientific and technological innovation talents.
