After 110 minutes, at 12:50 on April 10, the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway Turnaround Bridge was crossed on the No. 1 road in the Diaoyuzui area of Dadukou District, and the precise rotation was successfully realized. As the most difficult key node project in the construction of this section, the successful completion of the turnaround has laid a solid foundation for the whole line to penetrate.
At 11 a.m., the rotation work officially began. Different from other turnaround bridges implemented in the central urban area, the turnaround bridge across the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway on the No. 1 road in the Diaoyuzui area is on a curve with a radius of 900m, and there is a certain slope, and there is eccentric force. At the same time, the main bridge part is two 90-meter-long T-shaped rigid frame bridges, and the single bridge weighs 7,000 tons, which is difficult to construct. The secret of how to make these two big guys turn 90 degrees in less than 2 hours lies in this core equipment.
"It's called continuous traction equipment, and we have a total of two of them this time. A technician at the scene told the First Eye News reporter.
"Just like the spinning top that we usually play with children, the whole bridge rotates when it is pulled on both sides, it doesn't look very big, but it is our secret weapon for this bridge turn, its tensile force can reach 400 tons. It is understood that the bridge construction is carried out in the form of a rotating bridge, because the bridge is under the Diaoyuzui section of the Chengdu-Chongqing Railway, where the planning and design of the rotating bridge can be on the outside of the railway, the bridge body can be spliced and poured in advance, and then the docking is completed through the rotation. On the premise of ensuring the quality of construction, the impact on the transportation hub line is minimized.
As an important part of the Yangtze River Art Bay Area planned by the city, the Chongqing Tchaikovsky Conservatory, a landmark project of Sino-Russian cultural cooperation, will be built on the Diaoyuzui Peninsula, and as the main north-south arterial road of the peninsula, the importance of Road No. 1 after completion is self-evident.
Du Jianxiong, manager of the engineering construction department of Chongqing Real Estate Group Yudi West Company, said that next, they will immediately carry out the docking of the bridge and the implementation of the ancillary works of the road, which is expected to be completed in September. After the breakthrough, the journey from the Baijiawan interchange at Dadukou to the hinterland of Diaoyaokou will be shortened by about 15 minutes.
