At 6:26 a.m. on April 10, the polar expedition icebreaker "Snow Dragon" docked in Qingdao, Shandong Province, marking the successful conclusion of China's 40th Antarctic expedition organized by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The Ministry of Natural Resources and the Shandong Provincial People's Government will hold a welcoming ceremony at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Base Pier and hold a three-day open day.
It is understood that the ships "Snow Dragon" and "Snow Dragon 2", which participated in China's 40th Antarctic expedition, set off from Shanghai on November 1, 2023, and lasted more than 5 months.
At this time, the "Snow Dragon 2" ship and the 40th Chinese Antarctic Expedition are conducting an open day exchange activity in Hong Kong.
