In recent years, Guizhou Qiandong Compulsory Isolation Drug Rehabilitation Center (hereinafter referred to as Guizhou Qiandong Institute) has been based on the function of drug rehabilitation, fully leveraging the professional strength of the medical community, combining geographical advantages, actively exploring the application of ethnic medicine in the field of drug rehabilitation, combining Miao medicine with existing medical technology, and promoting the deep integration of drug treatment and medical work.

On April 9, the Provincial Qiandong Institute and Kaili Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine held a mid-term promotion and exchange symposium on the research results of Miao Medicine's drug rehabilitation and application.

Before the meeting, the expert team of the TCM Hospital carried out diagnosis and treatment for some of the drug rehabilitation personnel in the venue. Electroacupuncture therapy, infrared light therapy and other physiotherapy methods are used to treat and alleviate the symptoms of facial paralysis and cervical spondylosis of drug addicts.

At the meeting, Wang Xinggui, a professor of Guizhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and a project guidance expert of Kaili Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, made a speech on the promotion of the research in detail, and at the same time, the two sides exchanged views on the use of physical rehabilitation tea, the application of Miao Yi Lilun and the application of characteristic diagnosis and treatment technology, and reached an agreement. The third is to develop functional physique tea based on the physical condition of drug addicts, and apply it to the physical rehabilitation of drug addicts.

In the next step, the Provincial Qiandong Institute will take the initiative to integrate into the overall situation of social governance, continue to promote new achievements in the field of drug rehabilitation through the cooperation of institutions, and promote the high-quality development of drug rehabilitation.
