Mr. Zhang said that the Jinzhi River is one of the main channels that flow into the Dianchi River, and if the sewage enters the Jinzhi River, it will eventually affect the Dianchi Lake. He has been discovering the sewage for several years, and he reported it to the relevant authorities last year, but he did not receive feedback on the treatment. Mr. Zhang said, "The ditch where the sewage flows is more than 80 centimeters wide and more than 30 centimeters deep, and the water flow is slow and has a peculiar smell. He followed the flow of the sewage to find the final outlet, but he couldn't find it because some places were buried in the ground.
When the reporter came to the village, he saw that there were some drainage ditches on the ground next to the buildings, and there was sewage flowing in them, some of which were consistent with the situation in the pictures provided by Mr. Zhang. A staff member of the Yangjiao Village Group said that due to the early construction of the village, there was no plan to build a special rain and sewage pipe network at that time, and now the rain and sewage pipe network is shared. Many years ago, the village's sewage was indeed discharged into the Golden Juice River, but it was stopped after polluting the water quality. Later, the municipal government built a sewage interception pipeline along the Jinzhi River, and the sewage from the village was immediately connected to it and flowed into the sewage treatment plant for treatment.
"Although sewage can be seen flowing in the village, it does not enter the Golden Juice River. The staff member said.
The staff member also led the reporter to visit the entrance of the sewage interception pipe network. The reporter saw that some of the entrances were black pipes in an exposed state, and some were connected to the manholes. "The rest is buried in the ground, and it is no longer visible. The staff member told reporters.
The reporter visited the Jinzhi River near and around the village, and found that both sides of the embankment were solidified with cement, and there was no sewage pipe access, nor did they see sewage flowing into the Jinzhi River. In the Golden Juice River, there are aquatic plants growing, and the river water is relatively clear.
