Burmese government forces lost Myawaddy, and more than 600 people surrendered to Mindiwu. Myawaddy reshuffle, is it time for "KK Garden" to be cleared. According to a number of overseas media reports, the Burmese government army began to retreat from Myawaddy, more than 600 military personnel and their families surrendered to the Mindi Force, and a large number of pictures of the Tatmadaw army equipment seized by the Mindi Force appeared on social media platforms.

Many of you may be familiar with the place name "Myawaddy". Myawaddy Town is located near the Myanmar-Thailand border in eastern Myanmar, and is home to the notorious telecom fraud park "KK Park". Of course, KK Park is just one of many electric fraud parks, and it is reported that at its peak there were more than 300,000 electric fraud workers in Myawaddy Town.

This time, the Burmese government army was defeated by the Karen National Union, an "old-fashioned" ethnic group, and the People's Defence Forces (YPG), led by the shadow government of National Unity. The battle has actually been going on for a few weeks, and now the winner has finally been decided. Photos on social media platforms also show officials and security personnel from Myanmar's junta fleeing to Mae Sot, Thailand, across the river, with their families in tow. The Myanmar junta urgently asked Thailand for help, asking Thailand to open Mae Sot airport, and Myanmar to send three special planes to assist in the evacuation. However, for unknown reasons, the military junta on Sunday canceled other charter flights after sending a special plane to carry away a large number of official documents. Thailand is also confused, and now Thailand is actively organizing rescue forces. Thailand says it can accommodate 100,000 Burmese refugees.

For the Burmese junta, the loss of Myawaddy is a major loss. Since the escalation of fighting in northern Myanmar last October, government forces have been losing ground one after another. Recently, Naypyidaw has been hit by another drone attack. The morale of the government forces was already low, and the loss of Myawaddy was a heavy blow to the government forces. What's more, Myawaddy is an important trade route between Thailand and Myanmar, with $4 billion worth of goods passing through it every year. Once it falls into the hands of the civilian army, it means that the military government has lost another source of finance.

However, what deserves our attention is whether the current change in the situation in Myanmar means that the "stronghold" of telecom fraud can finally be eradicated? In the past few weeks, while there has been fierce fighting between all sides, the "KK Park" has continued to operate as usual and has not been affected in any way. According to the Burmese media "Irrawaddy", the "KK Garden" is still brightly lit, and no bullet has landed in the "KK Garden" no matter how fierce the fighting around it is, which shows the depth of its background.

Who is the umbrella of the "KK Garden"? There are two theories on this question. The prevailing narrative is that the umbrella is a Karen armed force that has been co-opted by the Burmese government. As mentioned at the beginning of the article, the defeat of the Burmese government army this time was the Karen National Union, which was founded in 1947 and is the most powerful of the Burmese ethnic armed forces. But there are people within the Karen National Union who are Buddhists and there are Christians. In the 90s, the alliance split, the Christian Army continued to use the name of the Karen National Union, while the Buddhist Army set up a separate portal, and then the Buddhist Army was incorporated by the Burmese military junta as the "Karen Border Guard". Many analysts agree that the "KK Park" was sheltered by the "Karen border guards".

But just last month, the commander-in-chief of the "border guards", Sukhito, announced that he had broken with the junta and would no longer accept salaries from the junta. The reason he gave was that he was unwilling to fight his fellow Karen people. Sukitu also changed the name of the unit from "Border Guards" to "Karen National Army". This is ironic, because in the past, there have been many cases of "border guards" and government troops besieging the Karen National Union. Why did Sukido suddenly change sex?

Analysts generally believe that the Burmese junta began to crack down on wire fraud under international pressure, which moved the cake of Sukhithu. There is also a possibility that Sukidu realized that the government army was running out of control, so he quickly defected. I want to renew my friendship with the Christian Army, so as to keep my "old roots". This also explains to a certain extent why, under the flames of war, the "KK Park" was unscathed.

In addition, there is also a theory that the top of the Karen National Union was also involved in the umbrella of the "KK Park". The Karen National Union (KA) has firmly denied this and has promised to investigate thoroughly. However, so far, no relevant findings have been seen.

Therefore, whether the electric fraud parks, including the "KK Park", can be completely eradicated in the future is likely to depend on the game of different armed forces within the Karen people. For everyone, the electric fraud garden is a piece of fat.

However, it must also be said that whoever eats this piece of fat will end up with stomach trouble. In fact, not only Chinese people have suffered greatly, but also citizens of neighboring countries such as Thailand, India, and Malaysia have been deceived into the electric fraud park. In northern Burma, the Kokang Allied Army waved the banner of "eradicating the umbrella of fraud" and "rescuing compatriots", making its division famous and occupying the moral high ground. The so-called people who know the times are Junjie, and the Karen armed forces should also fully realize this, and don't end up with a funeral for the electric fraud garden because of greed.
