According to Thai media news, on April 9, Thai Prime Minister and Finance Minister Saita revealed after presiding over a regular cabinet meeting that the cabinet meeting on the same day listened to a research and analysis report on the legalization of the opening of entertainment complexes or casinos.
The purpose of the above research analysis report is to tackle the problem of illegal gambling and bring benefits to the country's economy. In this regard, the Ministry of Finance of Thailand has been entrusted with further studying the feasibility and details of the special committee considering the opening of full-service entertainment venues or legal casinos, and will submit it to the Cabinet again for consideration within 30 days.
