According to Thai media news, on April 9, Thailand's Minister of Tourism and Sports, Ms. Sudarwan, revealed that the number of foreign tourists to Thailand from April 1 to 7, 2024 reached 617,832, a year-on-year decrease of 26,496, a decrease of 4.12%, and the average daily number of inbound tourists was 88,262.
According to the data, the top five foreign tourists in the last week were 126,562 in China, 72,093 in Malaysia, 38,140 in Russia, 37,927 in India and 29,886 in South Korea. Among them, South Korea, Malaysia and India saw a year-on-year increase of 17.26%, 15.50% and 12.89%, while Chinese and Russian tourists saw a slight decline.
In addition, the data also shows that between January 1 and April 7, 2024, the cumulative number of foreign tourists to Thailand reached 9,988,151, and the cumulative revenue was about 484.485 billion baht. Among them, the top 5 in terms of cumulative number of tourists are:

2. Malaysia: 1,240,667;
3. Russia: 660,953;
4. South Korea: 588,759;
5. India: 510,879.
