What can three interesting girls talk about? Anxiety, men and women

On November 3, from 14:30 to 21:00 in the evening, on the stage of the middle theater of three different time periods, three female performers from different creative fields, Li Xinyun, Bo Bonnie and Tian Yuan, were jointly accepting the wonderful challenge of the same playwright and the same script, which was the theatrical work "White Rabbit, Red Rabbit" created by Iranian author Nanxing Suleimanpol.

Before the audience enters, each audience's mobile phone is muted or turned off, and then sealed in a black bag, during which the audience is not allowed to use and view the mobile phone to devote themselves to the performance. The wonderful thing about the work is that the performers have no way of knowing the content of the performance before the performance, and the script is handed over to the performers two or three minutes before the official opening. Therefore, there is no rehearsal opportunity before the performance, and each performer can only perform once.

"White Rabbit, Red Rabbit" is a great challenge for each performer, who needs to read the script aloud while interacting with the audience and reacting accordingly according to the prompts on the script. Different from the traditional works that have been rehearsed, the performers and audiences of "White Rabbit, Red Rabbit" know the next content almost at the same time, and the whole performance is full of unknowns.

The performance was performed by Li Xinyun, Bo Bonnie and Tian Yuan to meet the challenge of "White Rabbit, Red Rabbit". After the performance, the Beijing News reporter had a conversation with them, in addition to the work itself, three girls with "interesting" souls in this era also talked about the anxiety they faced and women's topics.

Feelings after the game:

The play is always related to the present

Li Xinyun: This work can make me think of the movies I make, when each work is screened, I actually don't know who is watching, who they are watching with, this mentality I think may be similar to the author.

Berbonne: I'm more direct than your emotional thoughts. I've always been willing to communicate and express myself to people, or I've only spoken to others. Some people can go on stage, but I really don't. This work today met a person like me who is particularly willing and willing to express his desire.

Tian Yuan: Your so-called expression is because of nervousness.

Bo Bonnie: Actually, I was a little nervous, after all, I had never acted in any drama, nor had I received stage training, I was a film and television screenwriter, and I had never touched the stage, which is a feeling that can be imagined.

Tian Yuan: Understand what you said. I still think it's funny to take this scene. I've been directing for the first two years, but this year I especially want to come out and act again. Over the years, I have been practicing lighting, photography, how to make the picture look good, these techniques, and now I am relatively skilled. But back to acting, how to express between actors and actors, actors and audiences, I don't think I have yet reached the ideal state. So this year I'm hoping to have some acting.

Li Xinyun: We seem to have something in common. I came from a school of acting, and after leaving college, I didn't have the opportunity to step onto a stage where I could communicate directly with the audience. This also made me feel a knot in my heart, and I still love to perform this way of delivery. Especially strangers who don't have much to do with you, enjoy some of the feedback they bring you when you're performing for them.

Tian Yuan: Yes, I think improvisation is very challenging. In fact, the audience is different from each scene, and the sense of interaction they bring to you will be different, many links in this work can be completed with the audience, and its charm is that it always has a certain relationship with the present.

Women's Self-Selves:

Men and women are fundamentally equal

Bbonnie Berbiz: I was asked recently, do women also have a midlife crisis? That's an interesting question. Why don't women have a midlife crisis? We hear midlife crises talking about men, no one talking about midlife crises for women. I think this society is still quite patriarchal, and many times women will still subconsciously obey men. For example, we are recording an emotional show, a male guest comes, spray some "straight male cancer" views, at this time if you do a fierce argument with him, maybe others will think that you are sick. So you can smile and agree, but you will never stand up and argue with him.

Li Xinyun: This question depends on how you look at it, I think if it is a girl, she really has a special thing she wants to do, and when she really has the ability to do something, women and men are fundamentally equal. It's not a hostile relationship, like I'm a female director and might choose to use a female photographer, mainly because she does do better than the male photographers I know to choose her, not that my team has to choose women. There are a lot of good boys in my team besides girls, and everyone is working together.

Tian Yuan: Yes, in fact, after being a director for a long time, I will continue to balance the relationship between various departments. In the face of those cold budget figures, you have to plan what to shoot today, what to shoot tomorrow, and the director is always solving particularly practical problems. But I'm singing or standing in front of the stage acting, this moment I'm just trying to be this role, that moment I think of something closer to creation, rather than creating to balance one thing, I think both of these things are wonderful, that is, as a director, you will want to come back and find the reason for that momentum.

Li Xinyun: Then you are a person who is good at adjusting yourself. I've mentioned before that I'm not actually a female film director. The focus of my work is not in the female world. I didn't get mixed with the girl's world in my childhood, I didn't like jewelry, I didn't like what girls played, and when I grew up, I paid more attention to current politics, or relatively cool things, and many things would resonate more with male friends.

During this time, I have been thinking about a problem, why there is such a distinction between men's literature and women's literature, and female directors do not necessarily have to make films with female themes. It's true that most women will be more delicate than men in terms of baseline, but I sometimes deliberately don't let myself be too fragile and too sensitive.

Tian Yuan: I don't particularly care, I don't have a special definition, I just want to create. In fact, all the creations are one, and the reason why I want to come to the stage to act now is because I find that in the process of being a director, I need to be very calm, to be particularly balanced, and to take care of everyone's emotions. You become a problem solver, you don't have the motivation to create in your heart, so coming to the stage will make me more angular.

Fight Anxiety:

Always be a problem solver

BBONNE: I think a lot of people are creating a kind of anxiety and then selling hope. My description is "sell the disease first, then sell the medicine." "First create a disease to sell to you, and then sell this medicine, whether there is this disease or not, in fact, it is very likely that there is not." I found that many new media are selling a concept, such as "consumption downturn", "economic harsh winter", are particularly terrible terms, but you go to second- and third-tier cities to see the lives of ordinary people is still very good.

Tian Yuan: This feeling is more or less common to everyone. Most of the time we live in anxiety, there are many gaps in life, we think a lot of things, and people are very stupid, often think about what others have and I have nothing, there will be anxiety when compared, but most of the time do not think about what they want, which is the source of anxiety. My best way to combat anxiety is "in the moment," which is the best solution, you can meditate, or go to exercise.

Li Xinyun: I am not much different, although at work, I will encounter various thorny problems on the shooting site every day, but I am rarely anxious. Because I'm always the one who solves the problem, my strength lies in solving other people's anxieties, and I'm especially good at solving other people's anxieties, so I've always taken good care of myself. Anxiety is not of much use, and you still have to find out the solution to this matter in the end, whether it is the best or not.
