Recently, a Jiangjin train full of "made in Chongqing" auto parts in the western land-sea new channel departed from the Xiaonanya Railway Logistics Center and embarked on a journey to Qinzhou Port in Guangxi, and will eventually arrive in the Indonesian market. As one of the main hubs of Chongqing in the new western land-sea corridor, Jiangjin Xiaonanya is actively strengthening regional cooperation with Guangxi and other regions, and has established a customs clearance facilitation cooperation mechanism with Qinzhou, Fangchenggang and other cities to help enterprises optimize logistics channels, improve customs clearance efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
Shi Yanjun, Director of the Hub Operation Department of Chongqing Jiangjin Comprehensive Bonded Zone Development Group Co., Ltd., said that in the future, it will give full play to the linkage effect of "channel + economy and trade + industry", focus on the export of industrial finished products such as agricultural machinery, general machinery, automobiles and motorcycles, and realize large-scale imports of advantageous agricultural products such as fruits, grains and seafood in ASEAN, build a high-quality cross-border industrial chain and supply chain value chain for ASEAN, and continue to promote the high-quality development of the regional open economy.
At the same time, in Xiushan, a bulk commodity freight train full of manganese ore imported from South Africa arrived at the local railway yard on April 6, this batch of goods is manganese ore imported from South Africa, and will be transported by road to manganese ore enterprises in Qianjiang District for processing. Since the opening of the bulk commodity train from Qinzhou in Guangxi to Xiushan in Chongqing, 18 trains have been shipped, with a total of 677 TEUs of bulk commodity goods shipped with a value of more than 50 million yuan, which has effectively reduced the cost of raw material procurement and stabilized the timeliness.
Tao Yuanle, director of the project division of Xiushan County Channel Office, said that Beibu Gulf is the largest ore, grain and oil port in China, and Xiushan and its surrounding industrial and mining enterprises and feed enterprises are more. In the next step, we will increase investment promotion efforts and establish a cooperation mechanism for Wulingshan trains with surrounding districts and counties, promote Xiushan and surrounding products to open the ASEAN market, and realize the normalization of Wulingshan trains.
In addition to improving the quality and efficiency of the trains, infrastructure construction is also progressing steadily. The first domestic dry port of the new land-sea corridor jointly built by Chongqing and Guizhou has been put into use in Chongqing. Agricultural and sideline products such as fruits, tapioca starch, shortening, and rice from ASEAN have been regularly distributed in dry ports, and are not only supplied to Chongqing, but also sold to Sichuan, Hubei and other places.
At the same time, Chongqing's vehicles, auto parts, chemicals and agricultural products from Northwest China are also distributed here and sold to the world. It is understood that this dry port jointly built by Chongqing and Guizhou has created an international container sharing and allocation system, a distribution center for import and export goods, and has also expanded value-added services such as derivative logistics, trade, and finance, so as to further enhance the comprehensive service capacity of the new western land-sea corridor.
Duan Bensheng, general manager of Chongqing Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., said that in the future, Chongqing dry port will become an international logistics distribution center integrating "logistics + trade + industry" to facilitate economic and trade exchanges between Chongqing and ASEAN. At the same time, it will also promote the development of Chongqing dry port into a lighthouse demonstration project in provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) along the route, replicate and promote the experience of Chongqing dry port to provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) along the route, and promote more goods and trade to enter and exit through the new land-sea corridor.
Including Chongqing and Guangxi, after years of in-depth cooperation and joint construction of provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities along the route, the service scale of the new western land-sea corridor has continued to expand. Since 2017, the number of trains has increased by nearly 50 times, and the China-Vietnam and China-Laos cross-border railway trains have been operated on a regular basis, and new routes such as China-Myanmar, China-Kyrgyzstan-U.A., and China-Nepal have been continuously expanded. At present, the goods of the new western land-sea corridor have reached 490 ports in 120 countries and regions around the world, and 17 overseas warehouses have been initially reached in Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Hong Kong. At the same time, the comprehensive service capacity of the channel has been steadily improved, and the application scope of the multimodal "one single system" digital bill of lading has been continuously expanded, with a total of more than 6,000 "one single system" issued with a value of 450 million US dollars, and more than 18 million US dollars of export financing has been completed relying on the "one single system" digital bill of lading.

Since 2019, Guangxi Autonomous Region has signed 67 investment projects in Chongqing, with a formal contract value of 33.8 billion yuan and a capital amount of 4.7 billion yuan, covering electronic information, new energy vehicles, biomedicine and other fields, including Guangxi Guixin Semiconductor's new memory chip production base project, Haolong new energy auto parts R&D and upgrading construction project, Shenglian Life Science R&D and medical device production headquarters base project and other major projects.

In the future, what else will Chongqing and Guizhou do?
1. Jointly promote the construction of major infrastructure. We will jointly promote the construction of the second line of the Guizhou-Guizhou Railway and other projects to start construction as soon as possible, speed up the unblocking of the three main corridors of the new land-sea corridor in the west, promote the planning and construction of the Fuling-Liuzhou railway, promote the route of the double-decker container corridor from Chongqing to Beibu Gulf through Liuzhou and incorporate it into relevant national plans, and promote the preliminary work of the Chongqing-Beibu Gulf railway project through Hechi in Guizhou, so as to further improve the level of connectivity between the two places.
2. Deepen cooperation on the channel. Support more provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities to join cross-regional cooperation and joint construction, and promote the third capital increase and share expansion of operating companies. Support Chongqing's regional companies to become bigger, stronger and better, and create a demonstration of regional operation of the channel. Jointly build a cultural tourism brand, and regularly hold cultural tourism special promotion meetings to enhance the influence of activities. The two districts and cities have increased their investment in the general undergraduate enrollment plan to increase the diversity of candidates in the two places.
