Xiuzhou is located in the Hangjiahu Plain, which belongs to the water town of Zeguo, with the Grand Canal as the main axis of the water network to communicate the north and south, across the ancient and modern.
There are many bridges in the water town. There are more than 100 existing ancient bridges in Xiuzhou, from the Changhong Bridge, which is listed in the national cultural protection unit, to the Yuchihui Bridge that reflects the local style, and then to the national boundary bridge that outlines the historical memory, all of which are still in the weathering of time, inheriting the heavy canal culture and the ancient bridge civilization in the south of the Yangtze River.
The newly opened "Literature and Art Look at Xiuzhou" column will select some characteristic ancient bridges, reproduce the story of the bridge with written narration, and preserve the appearance of the bridge with the shooting of photos, in order to use the bridge as a link to connect the humanities, history and customs of Xiuzhou.

"The green stream has been fragmented for a long time, and the Zhumen is deeply hidden. This is a verse by the Tang Dynasty poet Wu Rong. The green stream is a river stream with clear water, especially the ethereal color of the water. The green stream in my imagination should be the one described by Li Daoyuan in "Three Gorges" - "plain turbulent green pool, back to the reflection of the clear clear".
Lujian Bridge is located in Shuangqiao Village, Wangjiangjing Town, which originally belonged to Jinqiao Natural Village. From Sujia Highway all the way to the north, cross the double bridge, turn right to the east at the Jiaxing Academy of Agricultural Sciences, drive east along the Agricultural Science Road, pass through several households (there are only a few families left, most of them have been demolished, the foundation is full of rocks), go to the cement path, only enough for a car to pass, in the end, can not move forward, you can see the figure of the Green Stream Bridge.
The Green Stream Bridge is a three-hole beam type slate bridge, with no railings and no bridges, but the words "rebuilding the Green Stream Bridge" and "Xuantong for three years" are engraved on the bridge forehead. According to the cultural preservation information, the bridge is 17.56 meters long, the bridge deck is made of three stone tiles, and the top width is 1.65 meters.
Jinqiao Natural Village is surrounded by water on all sides, the east is the Suzhou Tang section of the Beijing-Hangzhou Ancient Canal, the south, west and north are the waters of Dongdang and Lidang, etc., the waterway transportation is convenient, and it is a strategic fortress in ancient times.
Jinqiao is also called "Jing Bridge", and was called "Shen Bridge" in ancient times. During the Wuyue period, the battle of Mai Li was fought in the north and south of the Jiaxing West Canal. Originally, the strength of Wu was stronger than that of Yue, and the situation on the battlefield also prevailed. Unexpectedly, King Yue came up with a plan, let a group of prisoners line up in 3 rows, walked in front of Wu Jun murderously, and killed himself in unison, this scene greatly shocked Wu Jun.
Before the Wu army came to its senses, the Vietnamese army suddenly came out, causing the Wu army to be in disarray, and the defeat was like a mountain for a while. During the retreat, the Wu army trampled on each other, killing and wounding countless people. The more general Linggufu chased after King Wu's chariot all the way, and saw the opportunity to attack each other, injuring his big toe. The left and right guards fought to protect each other, and finally rescued King Wu back to Zhucheng in the area of the bridge.
Zhucheng is one of the "Eight Cities of Wu and Yue", and like Xincheng (formerly known as "Xincheng"), it is a castle built by Wu on the border of Wu and Yue to defend Yue.
Nagisa is land in the water, and the name suggests the natural beauty of the area. Nagisa Castle is surrounded by moats, and the bridge is its entrance. Looking at the wide expanse of water, I thought, this is really a good place to defend but difficult to attack.
The inner swing where the Green Stream Bridge is located is an open water swing on the outside, and a river channel near the village house on the inside. Dang and the river are divided and combined, which is really one, and the Green Stream Bridge spans this river. A little east of the river is the famous Blue Lotus Bay, which is famous for producing blue lotus flowers, which is recorded in the "Wenhu Chronicles".
Many years ago, I chatted with Mr. Jiang Chenhua from Shuangqiao, and he had also seen a record of five-colored lotus (the locals often confuse lotus and lotus flowers) in this area, but he had never seen it with his own eyes, so he didn't believe it. Later, he said that he visited the Blue Lotus Bay on the east side of Shuangqiao, and the locals said that there were really blue lotus flowers here in the past, so it was named after it.
After talking to Mr. Jiang Chenhua for only a few years, he drove to the west, and he may not have seen the blue lotus in the end. One year, I saw five-colored lotuses in full bloom in a pond in Linglong Bay, the town of Youchegang, and some of them were blue. I sighed for a long time, and I remembered Mr. Jiang Chenhua, who has always liked words and lotus.
Singer Xu Wei has a song called "Blue Lotus", which is said to have been originally composed for the Tang Dynasty monk Master Xuanzang. The blue lotus represents a dream, as the lyrics say, "clear and lofty".
The water under the Green Stream Bridge is clear. I walked up the 10 steps of the Green Stream Bridge from an old man sitting on the north side of the bridge, and stood in the middle of the bridge looking up at the sky, the blue sky and white clouds, so high.
I recall that when I first found the Green Stream Bridge, I casually asked the old man: "Uncle, is this the Green Stream Bridge?"
He said, "Yes." ”
He asked me what I was here for. I said look at the bridge. He said, "Eat empty." ”
After that, no matter what I asked, he didn't bother me. I felt very strange, and when I looked at the only remaining houses in the north of the bridge, I suddenly understood that maybe he was a little dissatisfied in his heart, which was why he was so indifferent to the outside world.
