"Li Peng" won the third prize in the publishing category of the 6th Shandong Science Popularization Competition, and is another masterpiece of the author Cheng Fang after the novel "Vanilla". Picking up the novel "Chestnut Peng" and opening the pale green color cover, I couldn't release it for a long time. Reading and reading, it seems to hear the beautiful voice of the author Cheng Fang ringing in the ears, and the vivid pictures unfold, how like a drama, with sound and light and color, delicate and timeless, and like the sound of the guqin, tactful and melodious, eloquent, like the sound of nature.
The whole novel is divided into six parts: Introduction, Autumn Breeze, Autumn Breeze, Fallen Leaves Gathering and Scattering, Jackdaws Perching on Shock, and Epilogue, with 198,000 words. The author's rich life accumulation and meticulous observation of children's psychology add a touch of color to the whole novel. The propaganda of the Zhucheng guqin is cleverly integrated in the novel, which is rich in local characteristics: "The autumn wind rises, and the autumn wind is bright." The fallen leaves gather and disperse, and the jackdaws are frightened. I knew that it was so stumbling, how could it be like Mo Xiang ...... at the beginning" The writing of national righteousness and family and country feelings is vividly reflected in the sentence "Dad, Abba: Your wish has come true - the train in southern Xinjiang is open, and you are coming back by train" is vividly and silently. The novel touches on a vast geographical span, and the descriptions of interesting stories and childlike innocence in the mountain countryside are like the crisp willow flute, which is tactful and melodious, and the mournful guqin is like crying and complaining. Ending: "It turns out that wild ducks can really fly. A sentence is written into paragraphs, short and powerful, and abruptly stopped, resulting in the effect of singing three sighs and echoing in the aftersound, making the reader feel difficult to calm down for a long time after reading, and unconsciously want to know what happened later.
The title of the novel "Chestnut Peng" is worth recalling. Every time I read "Chestnut Peng", readers can have new insights. As the name suggests, this book is full of exuberant vitality. The chestnut represents the two children of the chestnut and the Hui Peng, and also represents the outer thorn bud of the chestnut. Unlike many other plants in the author's pen, chestnut canopy is thorny, Cheng Fang said that the reason why he used chestnut peng as the title is because the male protagonist is very introverted in a special growth environment, and always wants to retreat instead of facing difficulties and troubles. And the novel is just to tell the reader, no matter if you encounter difficulties or campus bullying, you must show sharp thorns like chestnut canopy, overcome thorns, overcome yourself, and overcome suffering, in order to be invincible and achieve something. The little chestnut has thorns, Hui Peng saw her thorns, and also saw the brave thorns on his parents, so he no longer feared and retreated, and also let himself have thorns all over his body, fulfilling his father's last wish. This kind of positive energy and powerful theme setting makes the idea of the whole novel more profound, conveys infinite spiritual power to readers in addition to telling the story, and also increases the sense of layering and heaviness of the novel.
Cheng Fang's delicate and beautiful and tense language makes the whole novel reflect the warm and soft brilliance of jade on the basis of simple language, and the dingdong flows, creeping all over the field like weeds rooted in the earth, verdant and lush, full of vitality and soul. The marks and pains of growth, the confusion and confusion of children, and the longing and sentimentality of relatives should complement each other with the exquisite plot design of the author Cheng Fang's novel between the words. Whether it is the vernacular slang that the author inadvertently writes, or the sense of humor in the children's playful dialogues, or the description of the scenery in large paragraphs, all of them reveal Cheng Fang's linguistic skills as a writer of children's literature. It can be said that the novel "Li Peng", a random interception of a chapter, is a beautiful article.
The kind of narration that tells the story and silently infiltrates the heart, the kind of soft and delicate language talent with precise words, makes Cheng Fang's words blossom and bear fruit, and through the novel, it suddenly touches the reader's heart, like a vine entanglement, which people can't forget for a long time after reading. When the reader reads that "the fear brought by the darkness is like a shrunken net that binds him breathlessly" and that Hui Peng's feet are "like nailed", it is easy to imagine the scene and thus experience a strong sense of presence. The truth of art is vividly reflected in the novel, and in the process of reading, it seems that all the characters are alive in front of you, especially three-dimensional. Cheng Fang writes a small thing, and it can also be described like a stage play, as in front of him. She writes about the lunch of the left-behind children Hui Peng, from the dough to the pickled and spicy vegetable gnocchi, and can use a whole paragraph to describe it, making the reader feel as if he is there. She writes about rabbits, thistles, clouds in the mountains, poplars and chestnut trees in the backyard, convincing readers that it should be like this, that one more is too much, and one less is too little, and everything is just right.
Cheng Fang is good at writing dialogue. She writes the dialogues of different situations and different characters vividly, real and touchable. Hui Peng was beaten by his grandmother, he said, "Crescent Yue'er, did you hide because you were beaten?" showed the child's awkward thoughts vividly, "What is the broken city, who is rare? I like to plant the flag cliff, I want to accompany my grandmother in the flag cliff." Dialogues like these move the plot forward and hint at the heart of the protagonist Hui Peng. "Look at the water ducks in the depression bay, growing up in the wild, as soon as they move, they are like flying, and the ducks and white geese raised at home are not far away from beating with poles. Aren't you curled up next to your grandmother every day, just like the ducks and geese raised at home?" The grandparents and grandchildren between Hui Peng and her grandmother are also portrayed more accurately and delicately.
There are many dreams in "Li Peng", Hui Peng dreamed of his father, "his eyes are like torches, the corners of his mouth are resolute, and his hair is black and thick." When he was bullied, he dreamed that "he held his father with one hand and his mother with the other, and jumped home to ......" shows Hui Peng's inner yearning for father's love and mother's love from another side. He once asked himself from the bottom of his heart, a child who was abandoned by his father and mother, who didn't care about it, still went to school in the city? It can be said that the sense of unworthiness ran through Hui Peng's childhood, until Hui Peng cleared the frame, went to the province to participate in the competition, won the award with the help of his grandmother's guqin playing, met Xiao Lizi, and found his father in Xinjiang, he completely became confident. He once felt that he shouldn't talk back to his grandmother, shouldn't be angry with his grandmother, shouldn't hide his grandmother's shoes, shouldn't put pebbles into the stone mill, shouldn't ..... Hui Peng's spiritual growth is accompanied by pain and low self-esteem, struggle and abandonment, as well as the lack of family affection and the misunderstanding of partners. The obstacles that haunted the past, including the death of his parents, made him transform into a confident, brave, and strong person, with a soft and powerful heart. "Li Peng" is an excellent coming-of-age novel, which gives the current children an entrance to the heart, and sees the world through Hui Peng's eyes, which is worth readers to open over and over again, and have infinite aftertaste.
