"Sand" Painting Qiankun Walks with Love - The 16th Parent-Child Reading Club of Xueer Book House held sand painting art activities

The most beautiful April day in the world is when the fragrance of books is blowing. On the evening of April 6, 2024, the 16th parent-child reading club of Xueer Book House came with a spring breeze.

In this reading club activity, Zhang Xiaolin, a teacher from Qixi Sand Painting Art Museum, and her team of teachers were invited to bring you a unique and magical sand painting art experience.

PART 01Learn about the history of sand art

There are three links in the activity, the first link is Mr. Zhang first introduced the history and evolution of sand painting art, so that everyone can understand that sand painting originated in the Song Dynasty in mainland China, which has a history of more than 1,000 years. It combines the aesthetics of modern people, relies on the profound cultural heritage and cultural connotation, and uses natural sand produced in magical nature, through the wonderful collision of sand and hands, blooming brilliant artistic fireworks.

The second link is to look at sand paintings and guess poems and idioms. This is an interactive form developed by Mr. Zhang, which is very popular with children. By watching dynamic sand painting videos, children guess ancient poems and idioms, use their brains, and speak enthusiastically, which greatly improves children's initiative and enthusiasm for learning, and makes learning ancient poems easy and enjoyable.

The third link is to experience the charm of sand painting by yourself. Under the careful guidance and demonstration of Mr. Zhang, the children quickly devoted themselves to the exciting artistic creation, galloping in the ocean of art, and after a while, a beautiful sand painting works carried by the children themselves were presented, Mr. Zhang and parents were deeply moved at the same time as they were pleasantly surprised, each child has unlimited potential and the future can be expected, and I wish the children in the community to grow and develop in every activity.
