In February of this year, developer Geeks3D updated version 2.1.0 of the GPU stress testing software FurMark, integrating a completely different GUI and command-line tools, built by GeeXLab and GeeXLab SDK, with a new functional testing interface, and the addition of FurMark Knot testing. Recently, Geeks3D has continued to update the FurMark 2.2.0 version, which includes 4 major updates.
The first is a file that adjusts the GUI related settings, the new version of the GUI related settings will be saved to the settings.lua file by default, if the user wants to reset the relevant settings, delete the file.
The second is the option to add BFC (short for BackFace Culling) to the software graphical interface, which allows to vary the graphics workload and, depending on the GPU used, increases the burden of stress testing. In the previous version, BFC was enabled by default in stress test mode (RUN) and disabled in benchmarks with presets, but in the new version, BFC is still disabled in benchmarks, but users can choose whether to enable it in stress test mode (RUN).
Version 2.2.0 adds a GPU core hotspot temperature monitoring option for many GPUs, which can easily detect problems with the graphics card's heatsink or thermal grease.
Finally, it adds monitoring support for Moore Threads S80 and S70, which can directly see information such as GPU temperature and video memory temperature, and optimizes the graphical user interface of the Linux version.
