The most "valuable" museum in China, which is full of state-level gifts and diplomatic witnesses

author:Xu Gong reads the city

Recently, I have a good friend who lives in Guizhou and wants to come to Beijing for a few days. Just recently, I don't plan to go far, just nest in Tianjin, just wait for her to come, and make an appointment with her to go to a few more museums.

The first stop I chose this time was the Central Gifts and Cultural Relics Management Center, which, as the name suggests, is a place to collect national gifts. Each gift is a testimony to the diplomacy of the People's Republic of China, and it can be said that this museum is very valuable.

In the first few years, I remember that these national gifts were still kept in the National Museum, but they were later separated and a separate central gift and cultural relics management center was established. If you start from Beijing South Railway Station, take the subway for half an hour, and you can reach it from Line 4 to Line 7.

The management method here, like other museums, is basically closed on Mondays. The rest of the museum is open every day from 9:00~17:00, so if you want to go, be sure to avoid Mondays.

If you want to visit, remember to make an appointment in advance at the official official account Central Gift and Cultural Relics Management Center. This ticket is free, but you also need to make a reservation about 3 days in advance, because the tickets for the 3 days are basically full. And try to avoid weekends and holidays, days like the Qingming holiday now, it must be very crowded.

Anyway, we are all freelancers, so we can bypass these holiday days and go on weekdays, and never grab those vacation and weekend spots with ordinary tourists.

If you are a friend who comes to Beijing special forces travel, then you can store your luggage here, I heard that large bags and small bags can be stored, which is undoubtedly very friendly for friends who come with backpacks and even trolley suitcases.

In addition to gifts from other countries, it is said that some gifts from the mainland are also exhibited here. When the commentary video is released in the future, whether it is a gift or a gift, try to explain it one by one.

I saw someone ask on the Internet before, saying which treasure here can be called the treasure of the town hall, but the real answer is: we can only judge which one is exquisite and which one is valuable, but if we really want to choose a treasure of the town hall, we may not be able to really choose.

Because every national gift is a witness to the diplomacy of New China, each has its own value, and behind every treasure, there is a story of its own, which is difficult to distinguish between the high and the low. So we can give up looking for the treasures of the museum, and instead treat each exhibit equally and listen to the story behind it. If any story moves you, then it is undoubtedly the treasure of the town for you.

When I went to the National Museum to see the exhibition before, I was too hasty and didn't have time to seriously see the National Gift Exhibition Hall, which was still in 2019. This time I will reunite with them in 2024, so I must take a good look at them.

For a travel blogger like me, who focuses on China, such a museum is equivalent to a mirror, through which I can observe the customs and customs of the world, and in the future, when explaining other cultural relics, I can also be more targeted and tell more specific things. This is undoubtedly a good thing for my own growth and for the experience of my fans.

That's all for the museum, everything is ready, just waiting for that friend to arrive.
