Denim clothing has endured for its unique charm such as durability, structure, and comfort. With the progress of printing and dyeing processing technology and the development of new additives, the finishing processing of denim fabrics has developed greatly. A variety of special finishes on denim fabrics, such as stretch denim mercerized non-iron, heterochromatic coating, discharge printing, whiskering embossing, laser etching, etc., can give denim fabrics a unique look and style.
The three-proof functional finishing of denim fabrics is usually carried out after the above-mentioned special finishing, but the one-dipping and one-rolling process of the conventional three-proof finishing process may cause problems such as the appearance of the fabric and the shrinkage of the size. On the other hand, a large number of additives and slurries are required in these special finishing, and these residues may also affect the effect of three-proof finishing, especially when there are certain requirements for washing resistance. Therefore, Texnology® selected Texnology®FB101, which has good processing stability and additive compatibility on cotton fabrics and denim fabrics, to develop a ready-to-wear soaking-drying three-proof finishing scheme for denim garments, and its specific process is as follows:
Equipment Requirements:
Soaking and drying equipment: centrifugal dryer or industrial washing machine
Baking equipment: oven machine (temperature up to 150~200°C)
Process:
Prepare the working liquid of the three-proof finishing agent→ soak the garment until it is completely penetrated→ spin dry→ bake→ the garment is hung into the oven machine for baking

浸泡15min→脱水→155°C×10min焙烘烘干
The Texnology®FB101 three-proof finishing agent used in the process has excellent waterproof and oil-proof performance, and it has been proved in practice that the jeans processed and finished can achieve waterproof level 5 and oil-proof level 5 effect, and with the soaking-drying process, it can further increase its practicability and durability on the basis of maintaining the original style of denim ready-to-wear.
