"Green jade" is Daiyu, and the banana is a metaphor for Daiyu. In the backyard of Xiaoxiang Pavilion, "there are large pear blossoms and plantains", indicating the departure of Daiyu of "plantain".
Jia Zheng said "not good, not good" at that time, but he acquiesced. Combined with his evaluation of Xiaoxiang Pavilion, "If you can study under this window under the moon, your life will not be in vain", it can be seen that Jia Zheng and Jia's mother support Bao Dai's marriage.
It's a pity that "red fragrant green jade" was disliked by Jia Yuanchun, so it was changed to "Yi red fast green". The removed "fragrant jade, green jade" shows that Jia Yuanchun does not like Lin Daiyu.
