First of all, people have found that not all snakes protect their eggs, and most oviparous snakes will only find a relatively safe place to lay their eggs, and then the female snakes will leave, leaving the eggs to "fend for themselves".

After all, it takes two or three months to hatch eggs, and this length is not a joke.
Similarly, some pythons will also have egg protection behavior, usually holding the snake eggs tightly to hatch, but unlike cobras, the mother python will go out to find something to eat when she is hungry.
Because laying eggs and incubating eggs will consume a lot of calories of the python mother, if it is not replenished in time at this time, the python mother can easily not carry the baby snake when it is born.
Of course, the frequency of going out to "feast" will not be too high, as long as you can endure it now, the python mother will not easily leave the snake egg, and the snake egg is also difficult to hatch without the care of the python mother, because hatching snake eggs is the same as hatching bird eggs, and it also needs calories.
And the mother python usually uses the spasmodic body to provide these snake eggs with suitable heat for hatching, which is a huge drain on the physical strength of the mother python.
That's why people often see some snake eggs that don't seem to be guarded by snakes, either because these snake eggs don't need a responsible parent, or because the female snake leaves to forage for food, of course, if it is the second case, the female snake will definitely come back to protect the baby.
This is also the reason why the Thai rescue team saw that the scalp of the 45 snake eggs under the villa was numb, and the 45 snake eggs that could lay showed that the python was not small, and the snake skin found outside the villa was nearly 9 meters long, and the python would grow a little bigger after each molt, so the body length of the python was likely to be a very terrifying number.
Once the python is more than 7 meters long, it has the ability to swallow people, although the python is non-venomous, it is impossible to kill people by biting, but its huge body and deadly strangulation ability can also bring a huge threat to humans.
Such creatures live in the rainforest, and it is best to keep a distance from people and live in harmony with each other, but now they appear near the villas of residents, which is really not a "good sign".
In particular, the villa area is generally located in a relatively remote suburb, where the probability of encountering large pythons is greater, and it should be daily to prevent snakes, insects, rats and ants from entering the house at any time.

The villa itself can shield the python from strong sunlight, the temperature is relatively stable, and the floor is a very hidden place, if it is not for the rescuers to remove the floor, other natural enemies will probably not find that there are snake eggs in this place.
It is much safer and more convenient to lay snake eggs in this place than in the rainforest in the open air on all sides, which can not only ensure the survival rate of the baby snakes, but also avoid heat stroke.
Moreover, the villa area is not far from the mountainous forest area where you can forage at any time, and you can go out for a full meal at any time during the process of incubating eggs, which is really a rare good place.
Although the body of the python is larger than the average snake, it is not a problem for such a trivial thing as drilling a hole and going up the mountain, so once there is a gap, the python will go in and try to find a perfect place to stay.
