Huawei Investment Holding Co., Ltd. also stated that the above-mentioned dividend distribution is the company's normal profit distribution, and has no adverse impact on the company's production and operation, financial condition and solvency.

In terms of business, in 2023, Huawei's ICT (information and communications technology) infrastructure business achieved sales revenue of 362 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.3%, terminal business sales revenue of 251.5 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.3%, cloud computing business sales revenue of 55.3 billion yuan, and digital energy business sales revenue of 52.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.5%. The intelligent vehicle solutions business achieved sales revenue of 4.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 128.1%. It can be seen that the above five business segments have achieved year-on-year growth. Among them, the growth of the automotive business doubled, followed by the cloud business and the terminal business, both with double-digit growth. HiSilicon, Huawei's sixth business segment, did not release relevant data.

Commenting on Huawei's performance in 2023, Ken Hu, Huawei's Rotating Chairman, said: "The Group's overall business performance in 2023 is in line with expectations. It is the trust and support of customers, partners, and all sectors of society that have helped Huawei survive and grow. ”

Despite the squeeze on its performance, Huawei has not lowered its R&D investment. In 2023, Huawei's R&D investment will reach 164.7 billion yuan, accounting for 23.4% of its annual revenue, and the cumulative R&D expenditure over the past 10 years will exceed 1.11 trillion yuan.
