A 3-year-old boy in Jiaokou, Shanxi Province, was lost with two dogs while playing at home, and the two dogs returned home one after another.

"At about 2 o'clock in the afternoon on March 29, 2024, Guo Moumou, a boy from Guo's family in Shilinghou Village, Hot Spring Township, went missing in the chicken farm of this village, wearing a coffee-colored striped warm ......" On the evening of March 29, the above-mentioned missing person notice spread among netizens in Jiaokou County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province.

On March 31, Mr. Guo, the father of the missing boy, told Jimu News that he was from Jiaokou County, Luliang, Shanxi Province, and was not in his hometown. On March 23, due to work reasons, he took his 3-year-old son Xiaolin (pseudonym) back to his parents' house in Shilinghou Village, Hot Spring Township, Jiaokou County, which is located halfway up a mountain. At about 2 o'clock in the afternoon on March 29, Xiaolin was playing at the door of the house, and her grandmother was eating in the house. In the blink of an eye, grandma found that Xiaolin was gone, and the two dogs at home were missing with him. The family searched for three hours near their home, but they did not find Xiaolin, so they called the police for help.

After Mr. Guo's family called the police, the police and rescue team quickly arrived at the scene, and together with the villagers, a total of more than 100 people launched a careful search in the nearby mountains. The searchers used drones and police dogs during the search, and the search lasted until about 3 a.m. on March 30, but no effective clues were found.

According to Mr. Guo, at about 8 p.m. on March 29, one of the two dogs that disappeared with Xiaolin returned home. At around 10 a.m. on March 30, another dog also returned home, giving the family and searchers a new direction to search. The searchers followed the direction in which the dog had returned. At around 12 noon on March 30, a villager who helped with the search found Xiaolin on another mountain.

"The child was covered with dirt, but he was in good spirits and spoke quite powerfully. Mr. Guo said that the place where the child was found was about 4 kilometers away from his home, and the road was not easy to walk, and the dog who came home later spent the night with him on the mountain. After a doctor's examination, my son was in good health.

Members of the two civilian rescue teams involved in the search confirmed to Jimu News reporters that Xiaolin was found at noon on the 30th and was safe and sound.
