On the morning of the eighth day of the first lunar month, we drove to the estuary of the river through more than 90 kilometers of high-speed.
Hekou is a Yao Autonomous County under the jurisdiction of Honghe Prefecture, across the Red River and Vietnam Lao Cai City, Guliu City, the traffic is very convenient, Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, Kunhe Highway, Red River waterway here to form a hub and Vietnam docking.
Hekou is also a national first-class port, an important window for Yunnan Province to open up to the outside world, and one of the most convenient land passages for southwest China to enter Southeast Asia and the South Pacific. The China-Vietnam Highway Bridge spans the Nam Kye River, connecting the estuary of the river and Lao Cai in Vietnam, was built in 1999 and completed and put into use on January 8, 2000. The China-Vietnam Railway Bridge is a transnational bridge connecting China and Vietnam on the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway, built in 1903 and completed in 1904, with a total length of 76 meters, and was once used as a road and railway bridge. Vietnam Guliu Comprehensive Market is a comprehensive market integrating agricultural trade and commerce in Lao Cai, and the scale is similar to that of ordinary farmers' markets in China. There are a wide variety of vegetables, fruits and other foods, as well as a dazzling variety of horn handicrafts, clothing, electrical appliances, medicinal herbs and daily necessities.
Due to the high temperature at the estuary, we only walked around a short section of the street on the banks of the Red River, stayed for a while at the lowest altitude in Yunnan, took photos at the bridgehead and boundary monuments, and then found a Sichuan-style restaurant for dinner, and met a large group of veterans who had participated in the self-defense counterattack against Vietnam in front of the restaurant next to it to show the style of the past. We didn't visit the Hekou Station of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway (which stopped the 18 strange "trains are not as fast" as "trains are not fast" in Yunnan in June 2003), nor did we visit the Hekou North Station of the Xinkunhe Quasi-Railway, which opened at the end of 2014 (it takes six and a half hours from Kunming to Hekou), so I had to use online pictures to write this article.
At noon, we left the estuary and diverted to Jinping County. Because our junior high school classmates, after the demobilization of the army, worked in the Jinping County Agricultural Bank until retirement, Zhao Huagui and his wife, who recently bought a house in Kunming for decoration, returned to Jinping to receive everyone after learning of our trip.
Jinping Miao Yao Dai Autonomous County is also a county under the jurisdiction of Honghe Prefecture, located in the south of Honghe Prefecture, west of Luchun County, north of Yuanyang County and across the Red River and Gejiu City, Mengzi City as neighbors, east of the Red River and Hekou County, south of Vietnam Lao Cai Province, Lai Chau Province border, the county seat is only 7.5 kilometers away from the border straight line, with Jinshui River national first-class port and Shili Village hot water pond, Ma'an Bottom Northwest, Jinshui River boundary 3 border people's mutual market points. Jinping is a multi-ethnic homeland, inhabited by nine ethnic groups, including Miao, Yao, Dai, Hani, Yi, Han, Zhuang, Lahu and Brown (the Brown people were called "Mangren" before April 2009), and at the end of 2004, ethnic minorities accounted for 85.3%.
Jinping County is built on the bank of the Jinshui River, the street rises and falls with the terrain, is located in the south of the Tropic of Cancer, belongs to the low latitude plateau monsoon climate in southern Yunnan, warm in winter and cool in summer, mild climate, abundant rainfall, the magnificent sea of clouds landscape is also created by such unique weather conditions, this small city surrounded by mountains, the concentration of negative oxygen ions exceeds 2000 /, is a natural "oxygen bar".
"Red River Butterfly Valley" is located in Ma'andi Township, Jinping County. With the in-depth research of experts, the great attention of leaders at all levels and the media reports, the mystery of "China Red River Butterfly Valley" has been gradually revealed, and the reputation of "Butterfly Township, Longevity Township" (superior geographical location, suitable climatic conditions, pure water sources, abundant natural resources, and local residents' health awareness and cultural heritage, etc.) is also increasing. Tiansheng Bridge is located in the Butterfly Valley Scenic Area, which is a boulder on the border between China and Vietnam, with mountains and rocks, overgrown with wildflowers and green trees, because of the abundant orchid grass, the fragrance is overflowing, and it is named Orchid Mountain. Its orchid grass is divided into subtropical, humid tropical and tropical orchid according to the climate type, mostly Hui orchid and spring orchid, the flower color is elegant, fragrant and fragrant, and has extremely high ornamental value. It's just that we didn't come in the tourist season, and time didn't allow us to go on a trip. In addition, the waterfall and the waterfall group are also in the territory of Ma'andi Township.
The dinner was arranged by Zhao in Mengla Town, 45 kilometers away from the county seat (named after the Mengla River. "Mengla" is a Dai language, which means a wide area and fertile land in the dam area.
Some people describe: when you walk into Mengla, you will walk into the garden where bananas are lined up and rubber rows, and when you walk into Mengla, you will walk into the place where the emerald green looks up and the stars are dotted. Whether it is by the riverbank, or in the mountains, whether on the flat ground or on the steep cliffs, you can always see the verdant and beautiful banana forests and the neat and orderly rubber forests. This is a characteristic, and perhaps it is also the rule of the Dai family's labor and planting. In addition, the abundant melons and fruits in Dai Township can be seen everywhere, lychees, mangoes, pineapples, papayas, star fruits, and grapefruits, which add a lot of icing on the cake to the beautiful picture. Stroll through the orchard, put your feet on the ground, and smell the fragrance of melons and fruits.
The farmhouse will have a meal upstairs, open at a unified time, ten tables and eight tables together, the dishes are all meat and vegetarian, and all are Dai flavors.
That night, we stayed in the B&B opened by Mrs. Zhao Huagui's relatives in front of Mengla Hot Spring, which was cheap and good, clean and hygienic. Then go to experience Mongla Hot Springs.
Mengla Hot Spring is located in a valley near Mengla Pu'er Shangzhai, and the hot spring water contains a variety of minerals, which is a high-heat radon fluoride water. The hot springs are surrounded by ancient trees, bamboos, wildflowers, and moss. The spring water gushes out of the cave and pours into a 600-square-meter pool, with a depth of more than 1 meter at the very end. The water outlet is surrounded by stones to form a round well, and there are two bamboo tubes, many people scoop it up and drink it directly, the water temperature is 50-60 °C, and the taste is good. The hot springs are misty and the organic minerals in the water have a natural cleansing effect. This environment of complete relaxation and abundant nutrients in the water makes for a wonderful enjoyment. Special wilderness: open open-air hot springs, low fees, men and women share a bath. Hair washing is done under the bamboo pole "sprinkler" at the edge of the pool, but there are few "sprinklers", so you must follow the order and proceed slowly.
