In order to enrich the fitness projects of the elderly in the jurisdiction, develop the community goalball for the elderly, and improve the level of goalball for the elderly, on March 28, the new urban area launched a friendly goalball match for the elderly, and 10 teams from various communities in the jurisdiction participated.
The competition was conducted in a round-robin format, and on the field, the players were full of energy and high morale, and the tense and fierce duel attracted many goalball lovers to watch. The senior players held the hammer in their hands, swung the club, calmly bent down to hit the ball, one, two, three, and hit the club, they made a certain amount of force, concentrated on hitting the ball, and the whole event seemed to be passionate.
Xincheng attaches great importance to the development of cultural and sports undertakings for the elderly, and takes the gateball event as an opportunity to help the elderly exchange skills, improve health, gain friendship and gain a full sense of happiness in the activities. In the future, our bureau will continue to explore sports activities suitable for the physical and mental characteristics of the elderly, mobilize more people to join in the activities, actively exercise, strengthen the body, and promote the development of sports for the elderly in the new urban area.
