In order to further strengthen the education of juveniles on the rule of law and prevent the occurrence of campus bullying incidents, on March 27, the Zhongyuan District People's Court and the Zhongyuan District Customs Working Committee walked into the No. 2 Primary School of Zhengshang Road to tailor a "rule of law feast" for the students and fully escort the healthy growth of young people.
During the event, Wang Zhengxuan, director of the Central Plains District Customs Working Committee, introduced the rule of law course with the theme of "Opposing Campus Bullying" to the students. Tie Yingying, a police officer of the Zhongyuan District Court, let the students intuitively understand what campus bullying is and how it can be manifested through an animated promotional video, and explained the harm and consequences of campus bullying through real cases, focusing on the difference between "small fights" and campus bullying, as well as the relevant provisions of the criminal law on criminal responsibility and the age of criminal responsibility. The court officers and police officers also explained in detail the methods of self-protection when they were subjected to illegal infringement, and guided the students to learn to use legal weapons to protect their legitimate rights and interests, and enhance their ability to prevent illegal infringement.
"'Cold violence', 'nicknames' and 'deliberate isolation' are also a kind of bullying phenomenon, we must not be cruel perpetrators, victims who should not be silent, and not indifferent bystanders!"
Campus security is a hot issue of general concern to the whole society, and it is also a key area of legal protection. In the next step, the Central Plains District Court will continue to work with the District Customs Working Committee to take advantage of the opportunity of the National Safety Education Week for Primary and Secondary School Students, actively explore new models of juvenile legal education under the new situation, create legal propaganda content that meets the physical and mental characteristics and growth needs of young people, and carry out relevant activities in a way that children can understand, like to watch, and remember, so as to make legal education more down-to-earth and effective, and provide strong judicial protection for the healthy growth of young people.
