The exterior and interior of the new car have been changed, and all models are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the official launched activities such as 3,000 yuan to 100,000 yuan for car purchases, and 10,000 yuan cash subsidies for replacement customers, and the sincerity is still good.
Specifically, the new Sonata abandons the design of the previous generation, which was frantically complained about. Of course, the new car still has a young, sporty look, and there is also a N Line version of the model, which has been more sporty than the regular version.
In the interior, the new Sonata has also been adjusted, with dual 12.3-inch curved displays, rotating electronic pocket gears, etc., and is also equipped with Hyundai Motor's CCNC intelligent network architecture, which supports fingerprint recognition, identity recognition, digital key, seat memory, OTA upgrade and other personalized functions.
In terms of configuration, the entry version of the new Sonata is equipped with a series of configurations such as lane departure warning, active braking, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist, road traffic sign recognition, induction trunk, automatic headlights, adaptive high and low beams, electric sunroof, leather steering wheel, etc., it can be said that the configuration of the entry version is very good, and there is no problem with daily use.
On the high-end models, there are driving assistance systems such as Level 2 driver assistance systems, power seat adjustment with heating/ventilation for the main and passenger seats, and 64-color ambient lighting in the car. Overall, the new Sonata is still very rich. If you don't have such a high demand for smart configuration, the starter version is good. And if you want to have a better intelligent experience, the sub-low-end model can also meet the demand.
In terms of power, the new Sonata is equipped with a 1.5T or 2.0T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 125kW and 184kW respectively, and the transmission system is matched with an 8AT gearbox.
At present, the more mainstream medium-sized sedans in China, such as Accord, Camry, Passat, Magotan, etc., their position in the domestic market is still very stable, which is the first echelon. Other models such as Teana, Regal, Mondeo, Inspire, etc., although not as good as those in the first echelon, also have a place in the mid-size sedan market.
From the perspective of its own products, the strength of the new Sonata has been improved to a certain extent. At the same time, compared with the official pricing of the above models, the new Sonata is even more straightforward, the official directly lowered the guide price of the model, plus the launch of the event, the new Sonata is still very competitive, cost-effective is also good, and has the momentum of breaking the boat.
Of course, although the new Sonata product is balanced, the pricing is also sincere. However, the domestic auto market is still highly competitive. For example, as the second echelon of medium-sized sedans, Lai, Regal, Mondeo, Yingshipai and other guide prices are not low, but they are very objective in terms of discounts, even the first echelon models are not ambiguous in terms of discounts, and the new Sonata is not easy. In addition, the decline of modern brand power in recent years is also a test.
