At present, no relevant organization has come forward to declare responsibility for this incident, but from the past terrorist attacks on Chinese citizens, we may be able to see clues.
Hately, this is not the first time that terrorist attacks have been carried out against Chinese around the Dasu hydropower project!
On July 14, 2021, a shuttle bus carrying Chinese engineers at the Dasu Hydropower Project exploded while on its way and then crashed into a deep ravine, killing 13 people, nine of whom were Chinese citizens, three of whom were Pakistanis, and injured 28 Chinese citizens.

According to the Pakistani investigation, it was a suicide attack, in which the attackers rammed a car filled with explosives into a convoy of buses carrying Chinese compatriots.

The ancestors of Balochistan were once the Baluchi Khanate, and then they were invaded by the Mughal dynasties of Afghanistan and India.
By 1947, Britain had come up with the notorious partition plan between India and Pakistan, which laid the ground, causing dissatisfaction among the Baloch people.
Therefore, in order to seek independence and statehood, he began to hate the country and oppose the Pakistani government.
In the seventies and eighties of the last century, with the funding of the Soviet Union, the BLA of extremist ideas was formed.
After the collapse of the USSR, the BLA fell silent due to the loss of aid.
In 2000, it became active again.
Within the BLA, there are several important branches, such as the "Allah Brigade", the "Majid Brigade", etc.
Where did their weapons come from?

Many weapons were seized by the Afghan Taliban from the Afghan security forces, then sold, and partly fell into the hands of the BLA.
The BLA began to target China in 2015, when the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) plan was officially launched, and the Pakistani government contracted out the mineral resources of Balochistan, which caused the BLA to be dissatisfied, and they opposed Chinese investment, smeared China-Pakistan cooperation everywhere, and demanded separate negotiations with the mainland.

In December last year, the leader of the "Baloch Nationalist Army" who surrendered to the Pakistani government revealed that India had been secretly supporting terrorist activities in Balochistan and providing funds to separatist forces in Balochistan.
