Then the next question is, what is the evidence that the Americans believe that the mainland will reunify Taiwan by force in 2027?
First of all, the first evidence is intuition.

In January, Gen. Mike Minihan, the former deputy commander of the U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, said his "gut feeling" told him that China and the United States were expected to clash in the Taiwan Strait between 2025 and 2027. And he is predicting the timeline of the conflict based on his intuition.
And then there's the second piece of evidence: speculation.
That's right, intuition is speculation, last year's US Joint Chiefs of Staff, speculation that China is raising the level of armaments, and in 2027, the United States will not be able to stop China.
Therefore, the two bases for the United States to predict that China will reunify Taiwan by force in 2027 are intuition and speculation.

At the time that the United States is speculating now, you just give the dog two steamed buns and let it draw lots, and the estimated numbers may be more accurate than those of the US military.
Then the question arises, why has the US side been repeatedly emphasizing the 2027 figure?
At present, the most speculated reason on the Internet is that in 2027, there will be a reversal of the naval power of China and the United States.
In recent years, the U.S. Navy's ships have been decreasing, for example, in 2022, the United States launched only six combat submarines, of which only one destroyer, which is the core combat force of the Navy's surface ships, was launched, and the remaining five are auxiliary.
This number is not even as good as that of India next door.
