Precautions for mammography
1. If you need to take off your shirt during the inspection, please choose clothes and pants that are easy to take off and wear. Avoid wearing dresses or jumpsuits that cannot be taken off independently, and if you cannot complete the dressing and undressing process independently, you must be accompanied by family members;
2. During the inspection, the shirt must be completely removed, and no metal jewelry such as necklaces and earrings can be worn;
3. High-quality imaging effect is inseparable from good breast tissue compression. In order to provide a clear image of the deep tissues and reduce the radiation dose, the technician will try to flatten the breast as much as possible. The compression makes you feel pressure or some pain, but the pressure time is generally not more than one minute each time, please relax your emotions and keep your body still until the compression is relieved, if you move the body, you may need a second examination;
4. Try to choose about 7 days after menstruation for the examination.
