What kind of holiday is March 3rd?

The third day of the third lunar month, also known as the "Shangsi Festival", is a traditional festival of the Chinese nation, which can be traced back to the pre-Qin period. Now it has become the most important traditional festival of the Zhuang people in Guangxi.

At the beginning of 2014, the party committee and government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region identified "March 3rd of Zhuang Nationality" as a traditional festival of ethnic groups in the whole region, and had a two-day holiday.

The third day of the third lunar month is a common traditional festival of many ethnic groups in Guangxi, such as Zhuang, Han, Miao, Yao, Dong and so on, with the Zhuang nationality being the most typical. March 3 is the oldest Valentine's Day of the Zhuang people, in ancient times, young boys and girls gathered on the street to sing, gather by the river to feast and drink, with "mountain songs to convey love, hydrangea to convey love".
