The contents of the TrendForce Consulting report are as follows:

It is worth mentioning that after Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Max is equipped with the exclusive Tetraprism periscope telephoto lens module and achieved good sales results, it can be expected that the brand will continue to increase the adoption rate of periscope lens modules.

For its part, Apple expects to deploy the quadruple reflex prism periscope telephoto lens module, which was originally only available on the flagship iPhone 15 Pro Max models, on the iPhone 16 Pro in 2024, and all users of the Pro series will be able to enjoy this hardware upgrade.

In the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the quad prism camera system has a "foldable" design that can be mounted inside a smartphone for up to 5x optical zoom and up to 25x digital zoom.

In contrast, the smaller iPhone 15 Pro is in line with the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max and is still limited to 3x optical zoom.

IT Home quoted Ming-Chi Kuo as reporting in September last year that although the iPhone 15 Pro Max currently has a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, both the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will have this feature.

He said that the quadruple reflective prism structure of the iPhone 15 Pro Max is the biggest bottleneck in the mass production process of the device. As a result, Apple has raised the specifications of Da Li Guang's supply to make up for the lack of production capacity of LG Innotek.
