However, the "Supplementary Notice" issued by the Football Association on February 7 shows that the above two clubs have failed to qualify for the new season of the professional league and have withdrawn from the Chinese professional football league.
In the new season, there are 2 promoted polo teams among the 16 teams in the Chinese Super League - last season's Chinese Super League champions and runners-up, Shenzhen Xinpeng City (formerly Sichuan Jiuniu) and Qingdao West Coast.

According to the calendar, the new season of the Chinese Super League starts on March 1 and ends on November 2. So far, 8 of the 16 teams in the Chinese Super League have changed their head coaches.
Obviously, there are more teams that "have the idea of competing for the championship" in the 2024 season, and there are more teams that "have ideas" about the 2024/2025 AFC Champions League elite league and the AFC Champions League II quota.
