I quite like the ending of this movie, there is a lot of white space, and everyone has their own interpretation. Just like the "communication" that has been emphasized in this movie, what is communication, how to communicate? The movie actually gives us the answer, everyone is self-righteous and alive. The director thinks he is "rural", the actor thinks he is a "farmer", the farmer thinks he is a "star", the management thinks he is a "movie", and so on...... Everybody is talking to themselves, is there communication? Can we communicate?

The end of the movie also echoes this "self-righteousness". Rather than giving a clear theme for a family carnival, it is better to understand that in this era, the so-called "communication" has long existed.

Andy Lau is useless? "Mr. Red Carpet" proves that Ning Hao has fallen?

At first, I thought that this movie was a movie in which a star "experienced" peasant life and then realized it after being frustrated, and finally succeeded, interspersed with a satire on some phenomena in the entertainment industry. It's just that the actual look is very different from what I thought, the first half is a bit boring, and the back is still very exciting (at least in my opinion, the second half is a deep reflection of the theme, and the black humor and irony are very good)

Since I have some experience in eating melons in the entertainment industry, I can feel that the director really wants to talk about something, and I can get some of it, but it is a bit brain-consuming, and I really feel that it is not suitable for some people to watch

It's true that "Mr. Red Carpet" is not suitable for the atmosphere of the New Year, but it can definitely not be said to be a bad movie. I myself summed up this film by saying: "The movie is a piece of chicken feathers, but it is not filmed into a piece of chicken feathers", some people feel that this mess has no beginning and no end.

Because this film is about the life of chicken feathers, but the time clues of the whole story are tightly knit, and the logic of the characters' behaviors is rigorous and can withstand scrutiny, so it is obviously a story of chicken feathers, but it is not a chicken feather (feel the charm of Chinese). This movie is not a family carnival and is not suitable for the Spring Festival, but it is indeed the presentation of Ning Hao's new stage. He spread out all the absurdities there, making everyone think about each other, and no longer trying to show madness to the audience. This kind of silent deconstruction, I personally think that it actually takes some experience and age to think about and resonate.

There is a film review in "South Wind Window" that I think is quite accurate, to the effect that Ning Hao made a good shot, but the nature is a little embarrassing, it is almost out of the category of commercial films, and has the narrative style of literary films, but it is not a literary film. In this way, the presentation of the two ends will make the viewing experience very polarized, and the score and box office are destined to be greatly affected.

Judging from the coldness of "Mr. Red Carpet", magical civilians do not understand absurd elites

This movie is definitely not a bad movie, but it is a story with no ending, because reality has no ending. In general, this film is not suitable for the Spring Festival. Especially for ordinary audiences, the close-up shots of Andy Lau are estimated to make people a little confused.

I think this film is more like a film that describes the emotions and states of the characters, and the plot is not emphasized, but more about the state of the characters.
