On February 13, 2024, Canada's federal EE Express Entry issued 1,490 invitations to numerous Express Entry candidates, regardless of the lottery category, and this time the lottery score was 535 points.
The selection includes candidates from all categories of the CEC Canadian Experience Class, FSW Federal Skilled Worker Class, FST Federal Skilled Worker Class, and PNP Provincial Nominee Program.
This round is the fourth round of regular invitations for EE Express Entry in 2024, and usually EE conducts a lottery every two weeks, and this time the number of invitations has increased, and the score of all categories has decreased by 6 points.
2024 EE Draw (Non-Targeted):
The 2024 EE all-category lottery kicked off with a staggering 546 scores! However, what is amazing is that after this lottery, the number of high-level segments in the EE candidate pool is still as high as 8000+, which continues to rise without any downward trend. At the current pace of invitations, a significant reduction in scores across all categories seems unlikely to be achieved in the short term.

2024 EE Lottery (Directional):
In 2023, Canada Express Entry issued a total of 19 rounds of invitations across all categories, including five for the PNP Provincial Nominee Program and one for designated invitations in the Federal Skilled Category.
In the first half of 2023, the EE all-category lottery score is like a roller coaster, all the way down! the first draw at the beginning of the year was as high as 507 points, and then fell into a trough, and the whole category continued to slump in the first half of the year, never crossing the 500-point mark. On March 29, it set a record low of 481 points!
In the second half of 2023, the EE Targeted Lottery was officially launched at the end of June, and the score of all categories soared from 486 points on June 27 to 511 points on July 4. Amazingly, apart from a brief drop to 496 on August 15, the overall category score remained above 500 in the second half of the year, culminating in a staggering 561 on December 6. This series of numerical changes not only reflects the fierce competition in the EE Directional Lottery, but also makes people look forward to the future trend of scores.
2023 EE Draw (Non-Directional):
The scores of the EE directional lottery are generally lower than the scores of all categories, and even ultra-low scores below 400 points are invited.
A total of 25,870 people received a total of 25,870 invitations, of which 34% were French-speaking talents, demonstrating strong linguistic prowess. From now on, targeted invitations will be available for specific categories of candidates to focus on addressing the talent shortage. This will open a whole new door for those with exceptional talents and skills, giving them the opportunity to shine in Canada.
On May 31, 2023, the USCIS officially announced the EE targeted invitation policy.
