At 8 p.m. on 11 February (the second day of the Lunar New Year), the Hong Kong Lunar New Year fireworks display was staged over Victoria Harbour. Colorful fireworks light up the night sky, adding a lot of joy and festivity to the festive Hong Kong.
Reporter Jin Dong: Behind me is Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour, and the theme of this fireworks display is "Prosperous in the Year of the Dragon, Prosperous China". At this moment, beautiful fireworks are blooming in the night sky to greet everyone and send New Year blessings.
The fireworks display is co-ordinated by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of the HKSAR Government and sponsored by the Hong Kong Celebrations Committee. A total of 23,888 fireworks were set off for about 23 minutes. In Tsim Sha Tsui, Wan Chai and other places, you can watch the wonderful scene of fireworks.
