母亲节（Mother's Day）
It is a festival to give thanks to mothers. Modern Mother's Day originated in the United States, the founder is Anna Marie Jarvis (Anna Marie Jarvis) in the United States, in 1914, the United States named the second Sunday in May as Mother's Day. Out of empathy for this concept and the strong cultural influence of the United States, many countries have embraced the holiday, although it is not a legal holiday in China.
International Nurses Day
In 1853, Italian nun Nightingale organized dozens of people to reach the Crimean peninsula (the site of the current dispute between Russia and Ukraine), where the Crimean War was raging. On one side are Britain, France and Turkey, and on the other side is Russia. During this time, they nursed and rescued many wounded. In 1912, in order to commemorate Nightingale's contribution to nursing, the International Council of Nurses designated May 12, his birthday, as International Nurses Day, advocating and promoting the humanitarian spirit of selfless dedication and saving lives.
National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day
512 is the day of the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, which also activated the soul of the Chinese nation. Countless national forces and countless volunteers flocked to the disaster area to contribute to disaster relief.
With the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, May 12 of each year has been designated as the National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day since 2009. In order to show the Chinese people, be prepared for danger in times of peace, and enhance the awareness and ability of disaster prevention and mitigation.
