South Korea's 5G speed is the fastest in the world, about three times that of China, and only a little faster than 4G

As we all know, 2019 is known as the first year of 5G, because in that year, hundreds of countries around the world opened 5G networks.

At the time of opening, everyone advocated that the 5G network speed is 10 times that of 4G, and the 4G network speed is about 100Mbps, while 5G can reach 1Gbps, which can be connected to all things and realize various remote operations.

In the early stage of opening, due to the small number of users, the 5G speed performance is indeed very good, and in the actual test, many can reach about 800Mbps.

But later, as more and more people used it, the 5G network speed became slower and slower, and 1Gbps was really just a theoretical speed.

In the first half of this year, many netizens posted their own 5G network speed map, in many places in China, the 5G network speed when idle, most of them are only 200Mbps-300Mbps, and when they are busy, even 100Mbps is less, which is not as good as 4G.

So is it just China? It's really not, the world's 5G network speed is not fast until now.

According to a recent report from OpenSignal, even the world's fastest 5G has a download speed of only 140.2 Mbps.

According to its tests, South Korea's mobile download speed reached 140.2 Mbps from October to December last year, ranking first among 25 countries in the Asia-Pacific region and the world's first.

Next in second place in the Asia-Pacific region is Singapore with 71.1 Mbps, followed by Australia at 58.5 Mbps, Taiwan at 55.7 Mbps, India at 51.5 Mbps, Chinese mainland at 50.5 Mbps, and Japan at 46.7 Mbps.

Isn't it a surprise? India's 5G speed is faster than ours.

In Europe, 5G speeds are not fast, with Norway at 102.3 Mbps, followed by Denmark (98.8 Mbps), the Netherlands (81.7 Mbps) and Finland (71.6 Mbps).

In the MENA region, the speeds were slower, with the fastest being Kuwait (55.1 Mbps), Bahrain (54.5 Mbps) and Qatar (50.5 Mbps).

It can be seen that it is not only China's 5G network speed that has slowed down, but also the world's 5G network speed, which is estimated to be related to the channel construction of operators.

After all, the bandwidth of the entire 5G core network is only so large, and there are few people who use it, so everyone may be able to enjoy 1Gbps broadband, but if there are more people, it cannot be reached.

At present, the number of 5G packages in China exceeds 1.1 billion, and it is estimated that about half of the world's 5G users are in China.

At present, Huawei and other manufacturers have put forward the concept of 5.5G, saying that under 5.5G, the network speed can reach 10Gbps, which is 10 times that of 5G.
