On the afternoon of February 5, the Jiang'an County Court launched a publicity campaign to prevent illegal fundraising and popularize the law with the theme of "Guarding the Money Bag and Protecting the Happy Home" near the Paradise Lake Community.
At the event site, the court officers and police introduced in detail the typical manifestations of the crime of illegal fundraising by pulling banners, distributing publicity materials, and answering legal consultations on the spot. Combined with typical cases, conduct an in-depth analysis of the characteristics and harmfulness of such crimes to the public, remind the public to keep their eyes open, be wary of the temptation of high returns and get rich quick, call on the public to stay away from illegal fundraising, actively participate in the prevention and crackdown on illegal fundraising, and report to the public security organs in a timely manner if illegal fundraising is discovered.
In this activity of promoting the rule of law into the community, more than 100 copies of publicity materials were distributed and more than 10 legal consultations were received. Through this publicity activity, the community has a deeper understanding of the harmfulness of illegal fundraising, and has enhanced the ability to recognize and prevent fraud.
In the future, on the basis of giving full play to its adjudication functions, the Jiang'an County People's Court will actively carry out judicial extension services, earnestly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the masses, and build a solid judicial barrier for the sustained and healthy development of the economy and society.
