According to Thai media news, at 10:30 a.m. on February 1, the Pattaya Police Department in Chonburi Province, Thailand, received a report that a deceased person was found on the sea in the pedestrian street area of Banglamon County, so it coordinated with the tourist police and immigration police to check.
Upon arrival, it was found that the deceased had appeared on the surface of the sea about 20 metres from the coast, wearing black shorts and a brown T-shirt. After investigation, the deceased was an Indian man aged about 40-50 years old, his name and other information were not known, and the estimated time of death was not less than 3 hours. Afterwards, the staff recovered it to the shore and found no signs of injury after inspection.
In addition, an employee of a hotel revealed to the police that she was setting the table before the incident, and when she looked around, she found a face-down corpse floating on the sea, and she immediately called the police for help.
It is understood that the police have not yet ascertained the identity information of the deceased, and it is necessary to further find clues from the missing registered persons, and ask whether the hotels have the check-in information of the above-mentioned persons. As for the body of the deceased, it has been transferred by rescue workers and temporarily stored in the Banglamon District Hospital.
