The price of Nvidia China's special AI chip is exposed: the starting price is 110,000 yuan
Fast Technology reported on February 1 that according to media reports, a person familiar with the matter revealed that Nvidia set a price of $12,000 (about 85,000 yuan) to $15,000 (about 107,000 yuan) per AI chip H20 for China.
However, some dealers have begun to raise prices significantly, raising the starting price of the H20 to 110,000 yuan.
Not only that, Nvidia dealers will also sell servers equipped with eight H20 chips for 1.4 million yuan, compared with about 2 million yuan when the eight H800 chips were launched a year ago.

At present, Nvidia A100 and H100 chips cannot be sold in the Chinese market, and the A800 and H800 chips previously customized for the Chinese market are also restricted from being sold in China.
What can be sold to China is customized H20 and other chips, and the performance of these chips is only about 20% of that of high-end chips.
And Huang Jenxun has also said that there is only one Chinese market, and even if the performance shrinks, it will not give up the Chinese market.
However, the current dilemma is that due to the significant shrinkage of the performance of these special versions of AI chips, many Chinese companies are reluctant to purchase.
A number of domestic chips have said that their AI chip performance is comparable to A100, which can completely replace NVIDIA, but the only obstacle is ecological problems, and the CUDA ecosystem accumulated by NVIDIA for more than ten years has formed a moat.
