The comprehensive treatment platform of the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" project is composed of an underwater jacket and an aquatic production block, with a total height of about 136 meters, equivalent to the height of a nearly 49-story residential building, and a total weight of 12,215 tons, equivalent to the weight of more than 8,100 cars. Among them, the deck of the aquatic production block is 57.5 meters long and 36 meters wide, and the projection area is equivalent to the size of five standard basketball courts.
While the construction of land facilities in the second phase of the "Shenhai No. 1" project is being stepped up, underwater construction is also advancing. The underwater jacket supporting the platform has recently been successfully slid into the water and accurately positioned in the waters near Sanya, and it is planned to be installed with the aquatic production block during the Spring Festival.
The "Shenhai No. 1" gas field is the first 100 billion cubic meters of ultra-deepwater gas field independently explored and developed in mainland China, with a maximum water depth of more than 1,500 meters. The second phase of the Shenhai-1 project is about 70 kilometers away from the Shenhai-1 energy station, and is designed to adopt an intelligent joint control data sharing scheme, and the oil and gas produced are remotely controlled by the energy station. The treated natural gas is pipelined to a natural gas receiving terminal in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province, for supply to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Up to now, Shenhai No. 1 has produced more than 7 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 700,000 cubic meters of oil.
