Yang Wensen, a painter from Yangxin, was re-elected as a director of the Chinese Artists Association
On January 30, the 10th National Congress of the Chinese Artists Association was successfully concluded in Beijing, and Yang Wensen, vice chairman of the Shandong Artists Association and deputy director of the Liaison Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Democratic League, was unanimously re-elected as the director of the China Artists Association.
Yang Wensen, born in 1972, studied in the Department of Fine Arts of Shandong Normal University, the Department of Chinese Painting of China Academy of Art, and the graduate class of Guo Yizong's flower and bird painting creation at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. His works have participated in more than ten national art exhibitions and won awards. He is currently a director of the Chinese Artists Association, vice chairman of the Shandong Artists Association, deputy director of the Liaison Committee of the Shandong Provincial Committee of the Democratic League, president of the Shandong Institute of Chinese Painting Creation, director of the Central Academy of Fine Arts of the Democratic League, a distinguished calligrapher and painter of China Central Radio and Television, a consultant of the Shandong Young Artists Association, and a representative of the 11th National Cultural Congress. His works have been collected by the National Art Museum of China, the Museum of Chinese Party History, Zhongnanhai, the Great Hall of the People, the Shanghai Cooperation Qingdao Summit, the Hong Kong Garrison of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Nanhu Revolutionary Memorial Hall, the Guangzhou Baiyun International Conference Center, and foreign art institutions. Among them, "The Shadow of the Magpie in the Garden" won the 2nd China Art Golden Color Award, "My Company" won the Bronze Award of the 10th All-Army Art Exhibition, the 7th People's Liberation Army New Literary and Artistic Works Award, and "Ten Strikes" won the 12th All-Army Art Exhibition Outstanding Works Award.
