On February 2nd, "Danqing Wangshan River - Special Exhibition of Chinese Modern and Contemporary Painting Masters" will be unveiled at the Millennium Monument. On the basis of the five major exhibitions in the Chinese New Year, the Millennium Monument also plays its own role as a platform to connect unlimited academic research resources with limited exhibitions. For example, a "Merchant Picture" can extract hundreds of objects from the picture, from which you can see the details of the clothing, food, housing and transportation of the ancients. After in-depth research, products can be designed on this basis that meet contemporary aesthetics and functions. Another example is the architecture and construction information in ancient paintings, after in-depth research, it can also be restored in towns, cities and even larger areas, and redefine the urban style. Ji Pengcheng, director of the China Millennium Monument Art Museum, introduced that a three-year academic research plan has been launched around the theme exhibition of Chinese paintings of the past dynasties, and has been jointly with the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the Science Museum of Tsinghua University, Beijing International Design Week, Sanlian Bookstore, etc., to do in-depth research on the exhibited works, and do a good job in the interpretation and creative transformation of rich information in ancient paintings.

The three major international exhibitions lock in the cultural hotspots of the year

In 2024, the "World Culture Season" of the China Millennium Monument will launch a series of exhibitions and activities in three sections: the Hungarian Culture and Art Season, the Russian Culture and Art Season, and the Sino-French Culture and Art Season, to enhance exchanges and mutual learning between Chinese and foreign civilizations and the appreciation of art.

The year 2024 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary, the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia, and the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France.
