On the afternoon of January 27, the Children's Heart Theater of Guangzhou Children's Activity Center held a stage performance of "Star Family Intangible Cultural Heritage Welcomes New Talents". Mothers of families with special children put on cheongsams and intangible cultural heritage costumes, showed their charm with fashion shows, and conveyed energy with dance. The long time of taking care of the "star children" has left traces of time on their bodies, but after experiencing the chicken feathers in life, they walk elegantly and calmly on the stage.
The Yang Ai Fusion Mother Cheongsam Troupe, which completed this catwalk, is not yet three years old today, so none of the members have professional stage experience. Zhang Yuling, a member of the Yangai Fusion Mother Cheongsam Group, introduced that the cheongsam group was established by Dai Rong, chairman of the Yangai Parents Club, and the original intention of the establishment was to let the "star" mothers who are physically and mentally exhausted for their children have a career that allows them to heal and breathe physically and mentally, and rekindle the courage to pursue a better and happy life. The cheongsam troupe now has more than 40 members, the oldest of whom is 74 years old this year.
At the beginning of the establishment of the cheongsam troupe, the head of the regiment, Wei Ling, was a person who was "completely incompatible" with the cheongsam in the eyes of the members. Wei Ling has a 26-year-old son with autism. She has short hair all year round, never wears makeup, does not wear skirts, often wears men's shirts and casual clothes, walks like a man, talks like a "cannon", and rarely listens to music. But in the two years of the cheongsam troupe, the whole person has become gentle, "from a female 'man' to a gentle and elegant woman", and can also tell the story of the past with a smile in a peaceful tone.
"Because taking care of children is more difficult and my health is relatively poor, I thought that my body could not be so bad at this age, so I signed up for a physical fitness class, and later found out that there was also a cheongsam class, and I also signed up immediately. Wei Ling told the Yangcheng Evening News reporter that most of the other members of the group also signed up for the cheongsam troupe for health and happiness, and everyone got together to train once a week, and an aunt in her 70s also insisted on training, and this time she also came to the live performance program.
As the head of the regiment, Wei Ling will also give herself extra lessons. Every Monday, we organize several members who are faster to learn dance to practice together, and on Tuesdays or Thursdays, we will also consult with professional dance teachers. In order to make the cheongsam more charming, Wei Ling also went to learn classical dance, and often watched various dance programs in her free time, and now "the mobile phone video account is full of this kind of content".
Another member of the cheongsam group, Du Du, has a 24-year-old autistic son, who has become in poor health after suffering from the new crown last year and needs to be accompanied by the whole process. Under such a heavy pressure, Du Du still found time to participate in the study and rehearsal of the cheongsam show, and in the process of learning and rehearsing with her sisters, she found happiness and forgot the pain that life brought her. In her words: dance when you're happy, and dance when you're unhappy.
In Wei Ling's eyes, participating in the cheongsam group is not just a respite for the "star" mother, because "this is too negative".
"We have gained more energy from this rehearsal, and we can have a more positive attitude and a better smile to face the children, which is an essential part of our lives, a source of strength and a source of happiness. Wei Ling said.
