People who have been to Oman and come back are hard to believe, and it is very different from what they imagined

In my mind, my image of Oman has always been one of deserts, horseback riding and Arab culture. However, when I set foot in this Middle Eastern country, I found that it was not only the vastness of the desert, but also the magnificence of the mountains and rivers, which was incredible. This trip has changed my understanding of Oman so dramatically, every step is a challenge, every step is a surprise.

The beauty of the mountains: the majestic Himalayas

Oman, a country surrounded by the Himalayas, was something I had never imagined beforehand. Greeted by the first rays of the morning sun, I climbed Mount Kaba, a mountain with an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. Standing on the top of the mountain, I felt like I was in a fairyland, and I was amazed by the scenery in front of me.

The summit of Mount Kaba is surrounded by thick clouds and mist, like a fairyland. The air is fresh and crisp, and the wind chimes sound in the valley, like a concert of nature. Standing on the top of the mountain, you can see the magnificent view of the mountains, which makes me deeply feel that Oman is not only a desert country, but also has an amazing beauty of mountains and rivers.

Urban Prosperity: A Perfect Blend of Modernity and Tradition

Stereotypes about Oman aside, I found that the country's cities are not just oases in the desert, but a perfect blend of modernity and tradition. The capital, Muscat, is the country's cultural center and economic hub. The high-rise buildings and bustling business districts give me a sense of Oman's modern face.

At the same time, however, Muscat retains a large number of traditional architectural styles and cultural elements. Walking through the ancient alleys, I felt as if I had traveled back in time and seen the Arab culture of thousands of years ago. In every corner of the city, I can feel the love and inheritance of traditional culture by the residents, and this blend of modernity and tradition has made me know more about Oman.

Desert Mysteries: Camping Trip Under the Stars

When it comes to Oman, the first thing that comes to many people's minds is the endless desert. And during my trip to Oman, the desert gave me much more than that. Deep in the desert, I experienced a camping trip that I will never forget in my life.

When night falls, the stars twinkle in the sky, as if they are a brilliant gift from nature. We pitched our tents, sat on the sand dunes and listened to our guide tell stories about the desert. In this silent sea of sand, I felt the mystery and tranquility of the desert. It was not so much a trip as an immersive desert trip that gave me a deeper understanding of the land.

The beauty of humanity: simple folk customs and warm hospitality

In addition to the natural scenery, I was also impressed by the simplicity and warmth of the Omani people. Walking around the town, I met from time to time the welcoming residents who greeted me with a smile and made me feel the human beauty of the country.

By chance, I was invited to a family dinner with a local resident. It was a traditional ritual dinner with a variety of delicious Arabic dishes filling the table. With the warm hospitality of the hosts, I felt as if I had become a member of the family, sharing their laughter and happiness. This kind of simple folk customs and warm hospitality made my impression of Oman even more profound.

The story continues: in every corner of Oman

A trip to Oman is not just a trip, it's an adventure of discovery. Every corner has amazing scenery and moving stories. And I, just a passing visitor in this beautiful country, left behind countless wonderful memories.

At the summit of Mount Kaba, I saw the beauty of the magnificent landscape, in the cities of Muscat, I felt the perfect blend of modernity and tradition, under the stars of the desert, I experienced the mystical journey of camping, and in the intimacy with the local people, I appreciated the simple and welcoming folk customs of the Omani people. All of this has given me a more comprehensive and profound understanding of Oman.

Perhaps, travel is an adventure of discovery. And Oman is a treasure waiting to be discovered. In this land, every corner has its own story, and I, in this endless story, have written my own unique one.
