The work of forestry workers is not fixed, work in the garden for a period of time, and then work in the forestry area for a period of time, there is a workshop in the mountain field, and it is pumped to the mountain field for duty protection at any time, no matter where it is done, the name of the job is forestry worker.
Forest farm work is seasonal, with spring, summer and autumn being the busiest, especially in spring and autumn.
Planting trees is also a technical work, otherwise how can there be a College of Forestry, College of Agriculture, our unit team in charge of production of the deputy, technical department, part of the workshop director are college students graduated from the College of Forestry, College of Agriculture.
Planting trees has to catch up with the season, and the survival rate of missing the season is low, so in the busy season, we are all eating and living on the spot, and we can't go back home for more than a month, and the working environment and accommodation conditions are very bad.

The forest farm is a transportation auxiliary unit, not only the performance salary is low, but also the post salary is low, the salary of the forestry worker post is eight grades, and the railway is also the lowest, so our monthly income is very low, four or five thousand is normal, and more than six or seven thousand.
In fact, we also have a lot to do with transportation safety, the shelter forest next to the train track is planted and maintained, these shelter forests should be pruned regularly to prevent branches from scraping the catenary line, if the catenary line is scraped, it will cause a power outage, affecting the normal operation of the train, which is an accident.
We also have to check the phenomenon of tree disease and blight, once the diseased tree and dead tree encounter wind and rain weather, it will fall to the roadbed, affecting the operation of the train, and the train delay is an accident.
We regularly add passengers and patrol on foot, especially in thunderstorms, and the work on the job will be highly stressful.
From this point of view, our work is also highly related to transport safety.
Due to the low wages of our forestry workers, low performance wages, low overall income, and less pension insurance, fortunately, forestry workers are not special types of work, we are 60 years old, more than train drivers, road maintenance workers, electricians, etc., and then five more years of service.
When I retired in 2018, I had 42 years of service and my pension was only 6,200 yuan, which was too low.
Truth be told, the nature of the work of our forestry system really can't be compared with the front-line workers, our tiredness, hardship and front-line workers can not be compared, we are phased, they are regular, we do not work shifts, they work all year round, front-line workers are really hard.
So, although my pension is not high, I am also very content, I have worked for 42 years, I have not worked night shifts, I have not tasted the taste of working night shifts, what is not satisfied?
In order to ensure the safe and smooth operation of railway transportation, how many railway workers are fighting day and night in the front line of transportation and production, and how many railway cadres and workers have been condensed behind each train running safely, I am very proud when I think of these.
