In the 80s, those who can be admitted to universities are the pride of the sky, and those who can be admitted to engineering colleges are the dragons and phoenixes among the people, I myself am a witness, among my high school classmates, the top students are admitted to engineering colleges, so how is their life path developing?

In the 80s, the best and worst of the college students were all in engineering: some were developed and some were down

I am a high school graduate of the class of '82, and among my 52 classmates, 13 of them have been admitted to engineering colleges, and they are all top academic performers in my class.

Classmate A: I was admitted to Harbin Institute of Technology that year, and after graduation, I was sent to the graduate school of the university, and after graduation, I was assigned to a confidential J affairs base, and later entered Beijing, and retired in the army in my 50s.

Student B: I was also admitted to Harbin Institute of Technology, graduated and was admitted to the graduate school of Chinese University, and after graduating from graduate school, I was assigned to a large enterprise in the capital city of southern province, and became a director, the enterprise was sluggish, resigned and worked alone, did international trade, went to several countries, and now I have gone through the retirement procedures and continue to do some business.

None of us knew how big his business was or how much property he had, and he also participated in small gatherings of his classmates, flying around, but he never mentioned anything about his business to us.

Student C: I was admitted to an unknown engineering college, and after graduation, I went to study in a beautiful country for a few years, and after returning to China, I went to Fudan University to teach, and retired as a professor.

Classmate Ding: I was admitted to Changchun Institute of Technology that year, and after graduation, I was assigned to a construction company, and later I heard that I went abroad for further study, and after returning to China, I worked in an architectural design institute until I retired.

Classmate: Admitted to Dalian Institute of Technology, after graduation, assigned to a chemical company, promoted to the director of the chemical plant, later, the chemical plant was idle, this student worked alone, or the old business, distributing paints, dyes and other chemical products.

Because he caught up with the good time, and his classmates were good at relationships, and the business was very prosperous, every time we went, he was a treat, and I heard that his family had a lot of money.

Later, the business was not good, he stopped the loss in time, quit doing it, and ate the old book, and the pension after retirement was only more than 2,000, but people no longer live on the pension, and there is an old capital.

Classmate: Graduated from a provincial capital engineering college, after graduation, he was assigned to a state-owned enterprise in the provincial capital, and became a middle-level student.

Over the years, he has worked for private enterprises, he has been a small boss, no matter what he does, he has not departed from his old business, machinery manufacturing, this professional part-time job, his own factory, very hard and can't make a lot of money, mid-range life only, there is a house and a car, the child training is also good, the pension after retirement is only 3700 yuan, basically pay their own insurance.

Student Geng: After graduating from a provincial capital Aerospace University, he was assigned to a state-owned enterprise in the provincial capital city.

The companies he works for are all automobile manufacturing enterprises, all in the south, a family of three living in two places, he eats and lives in the unit, and often posts pictures of him and his co-workers eating together in the circle of friends, and the living environment is very simple.

Once, when he came back, we had a small get-together, and then we met in the group of classmates, and I heard that he had quit before he reached retirement age, and his health was not good, and he now lives in the same city as his daughter's family.

In the 80s, the best and worst of the college students were all in engineering: some were developed and some were down

Everyone is a speck of dust in society, the development of people's life is closely linked with social development, inseparable from the environment of social development, individuals and countries are breathing and sharing a common fate, the so-called times create heroes.

Back to the title of this article, college students in the 80s, the luckiest and worst were all engineering, why do you say that?

Students from engineering colleges, after graduation, are generally assigned to state-owned enterprises, except for student A, these students have high education, knowledge, culture, to the enterprise after the development is good, generally do the middle-level, at least is also the deputy high title, if this development continues, then the future is limitless.

How could I catch up with the restructuring and bankruptcy of state-owned enterprises, giving these students the opportunity to choose again.

Some choose to go abroad for further study, and after returning to China, they enter design institutes or universities, and their careers are stable, smooth, and uneventful.

Some were forced to choose self-employment, and among these students, some of them caught up with good opportunities, with their excellent business acumen, they made a lot of money, and more of them worked for others to maintain their basic life.

Therefore, the times have created capable people, but also abandoned the weak, the capable people are developed, and the weak are down.
