On the afternoon of January 25, the third lecture of the 2023-2024 winter training class for party members and cadres in Dainan Town was held, and Xu Bo, deputy director of the Xinghua Municipal Self-regulation Bureau, was invited to give a special lecture on "Land Use and Guarding the Red Line of Cultivated Land in accordance with laws and regulations", and Li Jianlong, member of the Party Committee of Dainan Town, Minister of People's Armed Forces, and deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Xinghua High-tech Zone, presided over the lecture.
Food security is the "greatest power of the country", and arable land is the lifeblood of grain production. Xu Bo started from the spirit of the relevant documents on cultivated land protection, and made a detailed interpretation of the latest "eight prohibitions", "six strict prohibitions", "five prohibitions" and the notice of the General Office of the State Council on resolutely stopping the "non-agricultural" behavior of cultivated land, and also analyzed the rules for judging the legality of land sanitation law enforcement maps, and analyzed a variety of illegal land use behaviors that are prone to occur in the process of rural revitalization through real cases. The new requirements and new measures are explained, the characteristics and causes of illegal land use are analyzed, and countermeasures and suggestions are put forward.
Li Jianlong put forward three suggestions on how to do a good job in cultivated land protection: First, it is necessary to consolidate the responsibility for cultivated land protection; second, it is necessary to make every effort to improve the quality of cultivated land; and third, it is necessary to ensure that practical results are achieved through the linkage of departments.
