The United Nations General Assembly Human Rights Council said that 19 countries, including Canada, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Lithuania, made statements related to Hong Kong.

While most Western countries have deliberately smeared and slandered the human rights situation in Hong Kong and called for the repeal of the National Security Law, Switzerland has proposed that the National Security Law be brought into line with international conventions instead of calling for its repeal.

The purpose of Western countries trying by all means to hype up issues related to Hong Kong and Xinjiang is to disrupt China's social stability and consume China's energy in order to achieve the goal of containing China's development.
